The staff was amazing upon arrival the front desk gentleman was welcoming funny and super nice. I loved the warm hand towels with lavender and the offering of Champaign. He also offered sparkling apple cider to our kiddos who where super excited about it. He also saw our littles one eyeballing the s’mores package and was so sweet and gave her one. I work a ton and it just made my day to receive a courteous welcome and some bubbly after a long week upon arrival The hotel is beautiful the ambiance was perfect with music and the lighting. It had great feel to be it. My employee booked our room for our stay and we realized she didn’t request 2 beds for us and our kids. The front desk gentleman helped us switch to something more accommodating for 4 people. He recommended a cottage across the street so we decided to take it. It was perfect. It had a huge California king and a couch bed with a tv fireplace and kitchenette. It worked perfectly for the 4 of us. The bed was great! I slept like a rock and had some dreams so I must have gotten some good sleep and hit the REM. The room was super cute loved having a kitchen area and a tiny fridge with complementary items. I would definitely stay here again. It would be a nice place for an anniversary or romantic getaway or even to host a business trip for your employees. We didn’t get to dine the restaurant or go to the bar but next time we’ll definitely try it out.

Stayed in a cottage. With 2 women and 2 girls their was only a sink mirror and a full length mirror in the bathroom it was really hard for all of us to get ready sharing a mirror. Would like to see another mirror in the bedroom area or tv/coach area. For those multiple women staying or even for when the hubby hogs the bathroom there’s and other mirror for the women to use.

beautiful hotel close to freeway but quiet even in a room facing the road. many little details tended to. I would stay here again. restaurant on main floor is beautiful and has an amazing menu and $$$. bar downstairs is very low key and after a full day of driving hit the spot. we split the sac burger and with fries and a salad was less than $20. very tasty too. and they allow dogs. breakfast was continental and the banana bread was to die for (no nuts for those allergic)

no elevator and schlepping bags to third floor is a thing.

This was one of my favorite places I have ever stayed! Such attention to detail that made every little thing so nice! Whoever decorated/designed the place A+! Everything was beautiful and so well done. I was a very weary traveler and got greeted with a cold glass of champagne and warm lavender towel! The bathroom, the bathtub with robe! I could go on and on. I have traveled A LOT, and little things go a long way, and I felt so comfortable and nourished here. They did a great job keeping the integrity of the history and telling the story on the walls and in the cute little book!

I feel bad saying anything negative, because this place was so wonderful! The neighborhood was a little strange (I am a solo woman traveler) and didn't feel the safest taking my dog for a morning walk. Not that it was super dangerous, I just encountered a bit of shady activity. Being close to the hotel was amazing though! With the gardens and beautiful porch.

The location was very convenient. We had an easy commute to Big Sky where we booked attractions (rafting and e-biking). We also spent a day in Bozeman (axe throwing and shopping). Hotel staff was knowledgeable about things to do in the area. They provided the kids with games and a deck of cards upon checking in. Staff accommodated our request to check in early a week ahead of time so we could plan. We received a text each morning from staff inquiring about our needs for the day.

The housekeeping staff was very young and unprofessional at times. They had a basket of folded clean sheets and spilled it and stood there laughing and picked it back up and put them back on the clean pile, still laughing. There was a similar situation with the wrapped food items that are provided during breakfast. Trash cans were not emptied unless we specified. No elevator for 3rd floor with 5+ suitcases.

The hotel was great. The rooms were very nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The chocolates on the bed was a very nice treat. The bottled water in the room was also very unexpected, but appreciated. The dining room was very good and convenient. The champagne and lavender scented towel upon arrive was wonderful.

The stairs that you had to climb to get to your room. Having to carry luggage up the stairs is a little dangerous for people. Should have an elevator somewhere in the hotel or at least a bell person to carry the luggage for you.

property was beautiful

our daughters room was above the music and Karaoke bar area(which Can go until 1:30am) and it was loud and room was vibrating. staff moved them for the night to another room so they could sleep the following night they were moved again because they had more music happening. so they were moved 3 times in two nights. we stayed in the cottage and they were very nice and comfortable

Homemade zucchini bread delicious for breakfast. The 15 layer cake we had the night before was the best I’ve ever had Keep that baker!!! The room was terrific. Appreciate being upgraded. Will recommend to anyone we know traveling this way.

More time for us to stay longer. Would love to come back again.

The historic architecture is really cool within the hotel. The lobby has an especially interesting look to it with the detailed ceilings, crown molding, and the columns. Our room had a quaint feel to it and the bathroom was nice.

We stayed on the third floor and the hallway had a weird smell to it. There’s no elevators which makes sense due to its age but it’s not exactly ideal if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Not sure if it’s the pillows or the bed itself but I woke up with a stiff neck.

If you stay 4 nights, you only pay for 3 nights. Three Forks is important if you're exploring Sacajawea, Lewis & Clark Expedition. Sacajawea was kidnapped when 11 years old, from this area, & of course, she returned with her baby son & husband, with the Lewis & Clark Expedition. There's a beautiful statue of Sacajawea & her baby across the street. The staff is friendly, & offer a glass of champagne & a warm refreshing towel. The bar downstairs has excellent food, including sticky pudding, as good as Walt Disney World's! Their Restaurant sounds great, but make reservations early.

There is no elevator, but if you ask, they will carry your suitcase upstairs, if you're on 2nd or 3rd floor.

The atmosphere was great, greeted like family and they showed great hospitality. i originally booked a two bed room, and was up graded at no additional cost to the cottages cus someone was staying another night in my room. and I would 10/10 recommend getting a cottage. I will be going back in the future to get cottage again.

Nothing at all. our party was blown away.
