Amazing staff. Renee was the warmest welcome we’ve ever received at an inn. the library and smoking areas were beautiful. the beds were fabulous. we visit Atlantic City often and we’re kicking ourselves for not trying the Chelsea sooner!

everything was amazing no complaints. If you’re one of the people complaining about noise, you don’t belong in Atlantic City to begin with lol

This was on of the best hotels I stayed at. The hotel is located very close to the beach and right next to the tropicana hotel. Everything was walking distances, I didn't have to move my car at all. The staff here was very nice my BF and I have the best time in this hotel even though we aren't early birds and couldn't enjoy the breakfast they served, we still loved this hotel the vibes were amazing and its very put together. This hotel is a historic spot which for me is amazing I love exploring historic spot and I had the best pictures to for memories that I took here.

the property is absolutely gorgeous! it literally feels like it’s set in Europe. I miss all the European b & b’s and this is why I love staying here. The rooms are adorable, the breakfast is GREAT. check in in was super fast.

The location is the part that I can’t stand. I have stayed on 2 different occasions and both times I was woke up all night long!!! The people that frequent the downstairs bar are not the same people that stay in the bar. I wish the bar would close earlier. I woke up all night all the way until 5 am by screaming idiots outside! unfortunately even though I love this hotel I don’t think I can stay again if I need a good nights rest. I have 3 littles at home and my priority was rest!

The rooms were beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. There's a 24/7 pub/grill right downstairs that's part of the inn. Excellent water pressure in the showers (no hard water). If you choose a 2 queen bedroom, each has its own TV and AC. (It's sectioned of to give a bit more privacy.) The mini freezer/fridge is top tier. And because it's officially a historical landmark, there are no kids under 12 allowed. So if you want a quiet, grown-up stay, this is the place. The beds... excellent!!! There's a Dunkin' Donuts and 7-ELEVEN on the corner. And it's right near one of the bus station pickups.

The building is beautiful and the room was spacious, well stocked and extremely comfortable. Great shower, very clean. Quiet too. The decor is fantastic, and I particularly loved the library and vintage AC photos & posters. Great air conditioning in the rooms. Drinks in the pub were great and the steak salad was delicious! Atmosphere was great.

Just a few things to note: the pub is not 24/7 all week. It's only from Friday until Monday 3am. Also the breakfast is only a continental during the week. We stayed on a Sunday night, and breakfast Monday morning was limited. Also, I didn't see an elevator. Not a problem for me, but something to be aware of if you have issues with steps. Pub food was mostly fried, but there are a few salad options and grilled chicken.

Location was sketchy. All night Pub drew ppl in literally all night. We arrived home @1:45 am. Our room was by the parking lot which there was loud music /yelling till morning. Needless to say we did not sleep. Not to mention that Booking.con overbooked this place and we literally got the last room that was extremely small with only one full bed. The place was very nice so it made up for the no sleep. Keep in mind the Pub downstairs is open 24/7 so it draws in late night stragglers.

Our stay was really enjoyable. This is a bed and breakfast built in the 1800’s. The staff were all nice and were able to assist for whatever we needed. The complimentary breakfast was just right. Scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee. The rooms are quaint and have some antique furniture but are renovated to be more comfortable. Still have some old woodwork and trim which I love. Steep front stairs to enter building and steps to get to your room with no elevator so you must be able to climb them. We don’t mind but if your luggage is heavy you will need to make some trips up and down. Rooms have a bathroom, small refrigerator, flat screen TV, iron and ironing board. Bring hangers for your clothes since they only have about 3 in the closet. Rooms are small but quaint and just enough space. One block and a half to the beach and boardwalk. It’s near the Tropicana casino and hotel which has shops, restaurants and of course gambling. The only complaint is that they didn’t clean our room the next day and when I asked they said they only do it for people staying a few days. I asked for fresh towels and they did bring them to me. We have stayed here 3 times and we will be back again. We do feel it’s a lovely place.

Need to clean room and give fresh towels even if only staying 1 or 2 nights. They did bring towels after I asked but cleaning ladies had left.

It was comfortable, warm, friendly, a real breakfast 😋 not a bag with juice and fruit. Also had a restaurant next to it with good food. Reception very nice and helpful. Cozy with reading library, chessboard set up, computer and printer, seating outside and smoking outside. Room was very spacious and comfortable with refrigerator, water and TV. Hotel recognized and was caring about they had 2 birthday 🎂 guests staying. That was a surprise of it's own and appreciated.

Charming, filled with reminders of days past at the beach, comfortable and pretty. The Chelsea is conveniently located and having parking included was so helpful. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had at a hotel. Our room was comfortable and private, clean and included everything we needed.

While our room was comfortable and well appointed, it was a little warm for our liking but the little window a/c was working hard. The Chelsea has been around for a long time, so expect that some stairs and floors are a bit steep or uneven- not an issue, just a heads up for anyone with compromised mobility.

It was just a short walk to the beach. The classic feel of the Inn was nice. Made you think of what Atlantic City was like a long time ago. It was a comfortable stay for the night we were there. The breakfast the next morning was nice and provided enough food to get you started on your journey. I definitely will stay again. Clean, comfortable and close to the beach.

It is not a big deal or deal breaker, but the shower and toilet was on the smaller side for a guy of my size.
