One of the staff was so rude and adamant when I asked for a room closer to the elevator because I have knee problem and walking a long distance was putting so much pressure on my knees. She refused and was very rude about it despite the fact that I told her that I could wait for the cleaners to finish cleaning other rooms. She insisted and refused to change the room. It was painful walking from the extreme end to the front elevator. This is the only reason I might not use the hotel next time.

Front desk gave us an extra 30 minutes to check out so that I could get back from a morning meeting. Location was very good for where I was going. Room was very large and clean. Breakfast was typical pastries, muffins, bread; also had eggs to order and a DIY waffle; oatmeal was watery. Overall, breakfast was okay, but not great for vegans.

Breakfast was okay, but not great for vegans. Better oatmeal at breakfast, bagels, more fresh fruit (bananas were green). Walls seemed a little thin as we could easily hear the people next to us (who didn't seem to be making all that much noise).

Nice Breakfast with omelet station in a nice spacious dining room. Waffles and huge pastry selection. Ceramic cups for coffee!!! (Would have appreciated hash browns to be included.) Guest room was very quiet room and internet service was good. Guest room was huge and bathroom was updated nicely. Gas stations and restaurants are nearby. Absolutely amazing massive bakery is next door if you need a sugar rush. Overall happy with the experience and will use this facility again.

Furnishings were kind of ornate and dated, but that's not a show stopper for us, A bit 60's looking. Bed could have been more comfortable. (Look at photos to evaluate for yourself.)

The location was easy to get to - right on 46. There is a restaurant in the hotel and it has room service till 10 pm which was super convenient. Check in was fast and easy. The room was big and it was clean. Bed was comfortable and lots of pillows! Air conditioning was a bit loud but okay. Had good black-out curtains. It was a bit noisy in the hallways but by 11:30 or so it was quiet. Lots of parking spaces. Easy to park. Was able to extend check out to 12:30. The kitchen accommodated my dietary needs - no meat and made me chocolate milk! : )

Everything was perfect for a short one night stay.

This was our first trip to Best Western Fairfield but it won’t be our last, it’s very convenient to our son and his family in Roseland! I had driven from NH and had a mobility issue when we arrived Miranda helped immediately by moving us from our assigned room to a handicap accessible room for our stay! Your entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating that we’ll be booking our future trips with Best Western. My condition worsened with the extreme cold and your staff provided a wheelchair assist without question, I can’t tell you how appreciative I am, I don’t like being a burden to anyone but especially to people I don’t know and don’t need to put themselves out particularly during the holidays! Your staff certainly went above and beyond expectations and I’ll be forever grateful! Thank you will never be enough!

The property was festive and beautiful! My only concern was the rugs in the room had food crumbs that weren’t vacuumed up.

The shuttle accommodating us was worth it. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to service us. The hotel is next to a bakery, deli, pizza place. The morning breakfast is better than your average hotel breakfast. We were there for 4 days and were comfortable. We would stay again!

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They really went out of their way for us. The hotel is beautiful, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a very nice time during our short stay.

We would have appreciated more vegan options at breakfast, but we were happy to see oat milk, at least.

The breakfast was excellent. It was served in the attached restaurant Cucina Calandra, an Italian place where we had a delicious dinner the night before. The room was clean and comfortable.

There wasn't much to dislike. However, the coffee maker pods had only one regular and one decaf and the in-room menu for the restaurant needed updating. It had specials that were no longer offered.

I've stayed here a few times now and it always meets or exceeds my expectations. Clean, comfy, friendly staff, exceptional restaurant attached, good location to where I need to travel. If I'm in the area, this is where I'll stay.

I had trouble adjusting the room temperature. It was too warm for me.

Nothing about this property I can say i did not like, The staff was excellent, Huge thank you to Michelle and Miranda for helping me with my parking. Stayed before my flight and after. The breakfast was excellent too. Would definitely recommend this property and will definitely stay again soon. Ideal for JFK and Newark airport.
