Casas de Suenos is gorgeous! We were in el Prado a one bedroom casita, which was adorable. Its an historic building so there are all the imperfections that comes with that, shower that needed to be yanked to work, light pull that came off (but was easily fixed), some general household maintenance needed to common parts etc. But this is all part of the charm and was not a problem for us. We loved all the art and sculptures in and around the place and the garden. Staff very sweet. Breakfast freshly cooked to order. Delightful and peaceful garden. Special bonus was being able to park your car outside your casita in your own private drive, very convenient. Very easy walking distance to the Old Town, and on the way a Walgreens. Lowe supermarket a 3 min drive down the road, as is Palms Trading Co. Downtown is a drive away.
Just something to note, apparently as a result of covid many businesses in the old town suffered badly and had to close or, if they survived, they are on reduced staff. The upshot is that many restaurants and shops in the old town are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, at the time of writing June 2023.

The location was perfect - within walking distance of the old town, the only part of the city that has real appeal. The bed was comfortable and the bed linens were wonderful. The bathroom was modernized and well appointed. I loved the bed headboard in the O'Keeffe room and the art everywhere - so inspiring. And most of all, I spent the afternoon in the beautiful garden, where I could talk in a quiet place with a long-lost friend who lives in Albuquerque. It really couldn't have been better.
Can't think of anything. I can imagine that parking might not always be convenient to one's cabaña, but it wasn't an issue on this visit.

Fantastic apartment! Spacious and very nicely designed. All facilities look new and work very well. Location very good - close to old city. Private parking right at the front door.
Staff is not always up to the task. Asked coffee filters and coffee pot that was missing from the coffee machine. Got filters and coffee. No pot. For some reason they had in kitchen list that said there are 3 of us for breakfast. But, 4 of us checked in. Every morning they ask do we pay 4th breakfast. Every morning we explain there is 4 of us checked in with breakfast included. Every morning they say they will check and update thr list. Every morning they do not do that. 😊

This is a lovely set of linked casitas (little cottages) set around a quiet garden area. They are quaint, quirky and unique. Lovely sitting area with separate bedroom, lovely comfortable k/size bed, dressing area and bathroom. Really good location for visiting old town for shopping and dining on foot. Also anle to get around the area comfortably. Lovely dining area for breakfast and fresh cooked food. All staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Very quiet location too.
There is nothing to not like if you do not want a standard chain hotel.

This is such a charming bed and breakfast. The property grounds are lovely, they are updating a few things but you could see the direction they were going and by summer it’s going to be really pretty. The staff were all wonderful, especially the breakfast crew. it was just a lovely stay. the location was also great, an easy walk to old town with lots of options for shopping and eating.
They renovated the nice little two bedroom room we had; the kitchen was great, would be perfect for a long stay. However the bathroom is really small for our group of 5 to share. It would have been nice if that could have been updated too. Wouldn’t keep me from staying here again though.

This property is lovely. The grounds are beautiful with so many places to sit and relax. Our room was really nice and we had a kitchen as well. As we were on a three week road trip, it was lovely to be able to cook a nice dinner and then sit out in the courtyard to eat. Lots of amazing history to this place!! The breakfasts were as wonderful as the art filled breakfast room. It is an easy walk to the Old Town.
Even though the clawfoot tub added incredible ambiance to our room, it wasn't that easy to shower in. It was quite narrow, so there wasn't much flat area for your feet, and there wasn't anything to grab on to as the shower curtain circled right around the tub.

Funky slightly retro hotel. We loved the suite (kitchen, livingroom and bedroom) but those who are used to cookie-cutter rooms with white sterile walls might not like it. Clean rooms, easy parking, great location (near Old Town), beautiful large garden and a full cooked breakfast...what's not to like? Keurig coffee in the room. Warm greeting from helpful staff started things off right.
Update livingroom furnishings and rug.

The property is beautiful. The interior grounds were well-maintained, appealing and well-established. The rooms were a good mix of historic, comfortable, clean, and cute. Dining in the restaurant/breakfast area was a great way to start our day with the beautiful views and the morning sun. I will stay here again. I strongly recommend this B&B.
It is an Historic property so be careful not to be too hard on the plumbing.

Rooms are very large and they have their own historic style. The garden is fantastic even if you are in late summer and most of flowers stopped blooming (I loved to sit there despite of some mosquitoes), generally clean (with the exception mention below), very helpful staff (they recommended me the places to eat and all of them were very good); the best location I can imagine (close to the downtown but reasonably far from noisy streets)
There were some mold stains at one of bathroom curtains. It is not modern fancy hotel with plenty of extra facilities (in fact it was problem for my daughter who expected modern furniture or beds - I just mentioned this in case somebody missed this in the pictures - for me it was OK)

location, breakfast choices and quality, grounds
Heating system loud. TV channel guide inaccurate. Kitchen was not supplied with cookware, toaster, etc. No eating or cooking utensils. Staff explained that guests stole everything. (Could borrow flatware from dining room.) Cost for basic casita was almost $200 with taxes. If you plan to use kitchen to save on dining expenses, it might be worth it, but you’ll have to supply all needed cookware.
