This is a truly wonderful unique place. Much recommended. The place is very central and walkable to centre/all amenities. Very easy parking. Rooms were incredibly spacious and beautiful with a Gracious and thoughtful host.

Every detail of La Doña has been lovingly cared for and curated. The inn showcases an impressive array of artwork and authentic regional decor; Paco and his staff have created a truly special place here. Our room (called Red Willow) was lovely, cool and quiet. The location is ideal for walking to many cafés, galleries, and bars.

We were hoping for some breakfast but La Doña is currently only serving meals on weekends. Thankfully there were many fantastic dining options nearby!

The location is great, right in the center of town. The room was good sized, shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was good, they were not supposed to have breakfast, but they did. The room is unique

The initial email I received stating something about “the government incentivizing unemployment” as the reason for not having breakfast. You could say that during Covid, but the Covid relief ended months ago. It’s simply for once an employee’s market and people have choices, that’s the reality. It came across as political and a bit off-putting. I am just stating this as I think it’s counterproductive and I can assume that it has turned people off (especially the demographic of the normal Taos visitor). Just say tight labor market and leave it at that, and you ended up having breakfast and the guy you had working was great.

Like most of Taos labor is at a premium so breakfast was infrequent. Taos is a centuries old city with roads, sidewalks and even historic graveyards not maintained up to modern standards. The property itself was well maintained, but like most facilities in Taos if you are a senior with a walker you will not do well getting around. Taos is a unique experience with several original art stores close by. The property is located in the central historical district so everything is close by. Taos is still recovering from Covid so not everything is open and restaurants are struggling with labor shortages.

This is very authentic and artsy B&B. You will find art, house plants and cosy interiors throughout the building. And also inspiring views, warm and very clean rooms (we visited in winter), hot showers, comfortable beds and speedy wifi. Although they don't serve breakfast (due to Covid), you can use their fully equipped kitchen and cook yourself (very nice addition when so many restaurants are overbooked during peak skiing season). We have enjoyed every day of our week-long stay and already want to visit again.

Everything was perfectly fine. It is only sad that city of Taos did not provide (at the time) recycling services and all recyclable materials goes to rubbish (not B&B fault).

Wonderful room, loved being able to open our doors to the courtyard. Loved all the artistic touches. Good conversations with Paco the owner. Very central to the plaza, walked most of the time....didn't need to drive.

No breakfast during our stay during the week ..... had to make other arrangements. Room wasn't cleaned until day 3 out of 4 during our stay.

Loved everything about the place, the location made most places walkable, the food served for breakfast was amazing, the decor and feel very unique, and the staff was stellar and super friendly.

The only thing that could've been better was the bed we slept on...it definitely needs a new mattress or box spring (or both).

Owner & Cook super friendly. Pleasantly surprised when we arrived on Friday that they are able to do breakfast again on wkds. Breakfast was delicious, just a little too spicy for me but husband luvd it. Very unique, eclectic place to stay. Like staying in a art gallery. Great location for walking to everything in the square area.

King Mattress I think needs replacing in our Rm, little uncomfortable.

Historic inn centrallly located. Personable host, Paco, is a Taoseno, so he knows what to see and where to go. Beautifully appointed room, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great mattress. Paco's gardens are absolutely stunning. His roses are sublime. Paco is happy to tell one a Taos story or two.

Loved everything!

Beautiful historic building. Each room is unique and wonderfully decorated with unique local art in just about every nook and cranny. Our room (La Luz) had amazing private patio with wide views of mountains, and separate sitting room with TV. Location close to everything in central Taos, and great launching pad for exploring the region. Owner was super helpful. Strongly recommended!
