The room was comfortable and clean, with modest decor, and includes microwave and mini fridge. The mattress was firm and I slept like a log. Best feature: I loved parking in front of my door and having a nice-sized second floor terrace (note: request a room with a terrace!) on the other side of the room. The autumn view of the Hudson River was huge and quite gorgeous. Front desk associates were friendly, efficient, and helpful, both at check-in and check-out, (Thank You John, Erica, and Roya.) Breakfast is not provided, however, the coffee in the lobby was hot and good.

I always appreciate make-up remover wipes, but a shower cap would have been nice. Great having a window that opens in the bathroom; needs a new shade.

We saw cops there twice so not sure what was going on but overall we felt safe. Also the rooms definitely need an upgrade but for the price offered I think it was alright.

Staff was very friendly, was able to check in early. Close to the highway but also very nice view of sunset on Hudson. Park on the Hudson is within walking distance ~15 min walk. Good value and quality for a quick 1 night stay. Parking was plentiful. Hotel had complimentary breakfast to-go bags from 6a-10a. Plenty of storage in rooms, microwave and mini fridge. Coffee and tea available in lobby at all times.

Slightly outdated, but again good for 1 night stay. If looking to go in town, hotel is a bit far for walking. Bathroom door didn’t shut fully and toilet wasn’t bolted to ground, just be careful.

It overlooks the Hudson River. My room was a corner room, so it had windows on two sides which made it light with a view over the river. The staff was very friendly and offered help carrying things to my room.

It is historic so even though it has been updated, with fridge, microwave, flat screen TV; not everything is new. Some may find a floor bump or tiles that are dated, but rooms are painted, cleaned and welcoming.

View breakfast (that was unexpected)

We booked a room for 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and when we got there they told us we can not fit in the room and suggest to take an other room (which we were not going to do). After looking at the room we asked for an extra bed for the kids and that solved the problem. They charged additional $25 for that which is totally understandable, this could be their approach in the first place though.

I loved the area and surroundings. Mostly the views as well to the river and mountains. As well the Lodge feel in the surroundings. Loved the check in with the evening crew as well.

Due to the pandemic damper in the hospitality field the Inn on the Hudson is in Dire need of TLC in repairs and maintenance in which I was obliged to apply and help (Im a maintenance technician) Paint Jobs, Flooring Vacuuming as well upgrades of complimentary amenities, such as soaps and towels. (Some towels were dirty upon notice)

The view of the Hudson River was pretty. The room was clean and smelled clean. The to go breakfast was filled with things that everyone would enjoy. Cute little seating area under a trellis.

The Wi-Fi was non existent. The pool was not opened. The door to the bathroom was a little hard to get into as it was a tight space.

I liked the Inn staff…very pleasant and helpful. It was clean and they had a nice “breakfast to go” bag for customers. Lots of coffee extras. A very good location too!

A few minor fix-it’s and touch ups needed in bathroom and table that the refrigerator sat on. I couldn’t get the pull up on the bath faucet to work to plug for a hot bath so used shower instead

Easy check in with polite front reservation person. Views were lovely and the inn location was convenient. Bed was comfortable.

The entrance from the road is NOT well lit and is a bit confusing. The bathroom was serviceable but will need painting soon

The location. Beautiful view of the Hudson. Close to the heart of Peekskill.

No milk/H&H for the coffee. Only offered creamer. The “grab and go” breakfast is ridiculous. Totally non-nutritious except the water. I have stayed at the Inn many times. The restaurant needs to be functional again. It was both convenient and enjoyable.
