Kids club, Hurricane restaurant, variety of options at the food place in the waterpark

My family and I were a little taken back when we learned that the decent breakfast was not complimentary, as well already spent a ton of money for the booking at the hotel. Waterpark- the dressing rooms were very dirty. Nasty hair (including pubic) everywhere. Unknown colored liquids spilt in the dressing rooms. The females bathroom reaked of urine. There is a lack of room service, though it states room service available. We had to call to the front desk twice throughout our stay and each time the front desk told us we would have to go to the front desk to get said item

They had restaurant inside the hotel. + it had a real affordable price.

Whoever used the room before my family, did several wrongs before leaving. *Shower had upside down to wet the whole bathroom when we first use it. *damaged the remote for the Tv. * Left the tv on the highest volume (of course on purpose) *on my last day, I was really sick and tried to extend my stay, the phone was also not working. *Left those tiny towels, that people wipe their privates, hanging on the top of the curtains.

The staff was wonderful from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the restaurant. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the water park was really well supervised by the lifeguards so that was a real pleasure.

The only small issue and I did report it to the front desk, was a small chunk of drywall fell from the ceiling over our tub onto our tub but not on to us fortunately. The plumbing in the bathroom above must have been leaking because the drywall looked wet and that's what caused it to fall

We had a lot of fun and everything was fine but for the price I was surprised by how dirty a lot of the general areas were, just dusty and not cleaned daily and the room was cleaned but it was not a deep clean so under lights etc. were very dusty. The beds were also not very comfortable but all the linens were nice so it was fine.

The water park was fun and very well protected by the life guards. The folks running the concession stand were overwhelmed but extremely friendly and helpful. In fact every staff member that we encountered was friendly and helpful.

The extremely long line for breakfast on the first morning was quite annoying. I feel that the restaurant situation was not prepared to feed the amount of people that were there. The price of the games in the arcade were outrageously overpriced, we dropped $50.00 in under 40 minutes. We did not go back.

My family had a wonderful time. The rooms were well kept, clean and comfortable. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The water park was fun and kept the kids very entertained. My 5 year old actually learned how to swim here and my 11 year old loved learning the boogie board. We ate mostly at the restaurant by the pool, the food was good and hot and hit the spot.. lol. My hat goes off to all that work there. Wonderful job.

Great location. Facilities were amazing to have available on site (waterpark, arcades, kids klub, theme park walking distance). Really great with kids.

Room cleaning services only scheduled after a 3 day stay is not good. Please take the plastic cover off the mattresses!!! Makes for a very uncomfortable sleep in those beds. Hot and noisy every time you move. Worst part of the stay !! Room 406!

The park was great and we loved that there were so many things for the kids to do such as the arts and crafts room and the arcades.

We wished there were more options for meals. The weather was poor during our stay, so the on-site restaurant was all we had and it was pretty limited for adults. Also, wasn't aware that everything needed to be purchased with a card, and we weren't notified of a machine that produced pre-paid cards until our second day.

Lines were not too long. Had fun. Room was clean

There needs to be more tubes available in the lazy River. I would’ve thought there would’ve been more attractions inside but still had fun. The Johnny Rockets restaurant attached to the hotel is absolutely horrible!! Such a shame as it drags down the Great Escape name. The restaurant messed up our order (two peoples), was not busy and had little service, food was bland/lacking flavor for what you pay.

The room was so beautiful! We loved it.

I don’t want to say all staff were unfriendly. Really only one in Particular. Steven in the water park. Very aggressive with the children and parents. Sarcastic when he told me “that’s common sense”. Very passive aggressive. Seemed angry. Screamed in my face screamed at children. Didn’t know how to speak gently. I understood maybe his job can be difficult but taking it out on the guests is very unprofessional and very hurtful. There is other ways to get your point across besides screaming. He could speak more gently. Especially to the kids they are trying to have a good day we can be safe and have fun without being screamed at by Steven. Everyone else was kind.
