The location was close to The Biltmore, which was the primary reason for our Asheville visit. The Inn was easy to locate, ample parking, and close to restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast for the 2 mornings that we visited. Hot coffee and hot tea were available at all times. Our room was clean and had nice amenities to make our stay comfortable. We would return here again and recommend to travelers.
Our only disappointment was the gas fireplace was inoperable in our room (possibly the entire property) but it was mentioned upon our arrival. Our room was under the dining room and we heard many footsteps during the preparation of breakfast. We just used it as a reminder to get up and moving and made breakfast schedule on time, lol!

I will definitely be staying at Cedar Crest or one of its sister properties the next time I'm in Asheville! The property is close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. I loved the pink historic home and all of the rooms in the home! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The house is kept very clean and the breakfast is fantastic! This is the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in!
I wish on booking.com we could select what bedroom we want to stay in. When you book through here you end up being put in a random room- we ended up upgrading to the one we wanted!

The house is lovely and historic. It feels very authentic with its amazing stairwell. The porch is lovely. The staff the first day (Arthur and a new girl) was welcoming. It is very close to the Biltmore so in that way it is perfect. Breakfast servers were delightful.
This beautiful home is on a very busy street, although you are above it. Sitting at breakfast is beautiful but you do hear the noise. The bed was very hard and both of us had a rough time sleeping well. The bathroom is very small for two people. We were welcomed by Arthur the first day in such a lovely way, but when we left the lady in the office was very disconnected to us...not even a thank you for staying.

The Cedar Crest Inn is a splendid pink victorian mansion up a steep hill above downtown Biltmore Village. The house is quite remarkable, with original wood paneling creating a gleaming dark glamour. We had chosen the least expensive room, which was predictably on the small side, especially the bathroom, but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was probably full size rather than Queen. The Inn had only just reopened after a long closure post Hurricane Helene, and there were not many guests. They had said they were not yet serving a full breakfast, and it exceeded our expectations, with fresh yogurt berries, fruit, and granola, along with hard boiled eggs and various bars and snack packs. Hot coffee was kept out all day, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were put out. It was a quick, completely direct drive to the heart of downtown Asheville. Biltmore Village is still being rebuilt after Helene. We were happy to be able to patronize this grande dame of a B&B as Biltmore Village starts to recover.

We were truly honored to spend our honeymoon staying at the Cedar Crest Inn. The pictures do not do this building justice. It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking with the preservation of all of the old stylings of the home. They serve a two-course breakfast every morning, hot and fresh, and accommodate for both vegetarians and gluten-free individuals. The breakfast was so delicious, and the beds were insanely comfortable. At one point, my husband literally said to me "I can't wait to go to bed so I can have breakfast again" LOL. The staff is super friendly, and it was overall a fantasy for us. We will be returning for our one-year anniversary!
The television in the room could be bigger, but we used it maybe two times, and the driveway entrance is a little tricky.

Since we arrived after check-in time, we were provided with all the needed instructions to get into our room. reserved room was located on the top floor, so we did not hear any noise, mainly people downstairs would hear us walking up the stairs and then pacing back and forth. The room had a bath tub, which we really enjoyed after a long hiking day. They lounge areas are really nice. However the patio is too noisy to sit outside and relax, there were lot's of birds in the morning, due the traffic noise the Merlin app wasn't able to pick any bird sounds.
Breakfast was OK, sweet cinnamon pastry with spoon of yogurt and egg with sweet sausage on a sweet waffle. Since I don't like sweets, my husband asked for a scramble that other guests were having and the stuff accommodated our request.

Beautiful Mansion, attractive grounds. The terrace was really nice. Breakfast was very good, and there’s a gorgeous dining room. Staff are helpful and nice. Very clean. The claw foot tub was great.
There’s a lot of stairs! So many. Beautiful though. The air units are noisy-this may not apply to every room; we were at the top of the mansion. I’d bring water with you to your room, there’s a water cooler and a communal refrigerator but they’re downstairs. The location is noisy, sires going off a few times a night. It’s not too bad, but it’s noticeable.

We were so incredibly happy with our stay and would recommend staying here for anyone that’s wants a romantic trip to the mountains !!

Beautiful home, breakfast was delicious.
Home is located on a noisy street near a hospital so lots of sirens and even helicopters flying in to land on roof of hospital. I had ear plugs I used to sleep. Food was very good, but portions were small…a few pieces of fruit with a tablespoon of yogurt and then 1 waffle with 1 slices of bacon. I’ve stayed at lots of B&B and I would rather have a hearty breakfast than a fancy meal. I think it was a bit overdone, although it was very tasty.

Breakfast was so delicious. Something unique and different each day, what a great chef! They had delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies everyday too. We enjoyed the Serenity room very much. Bed and sheets were so comfy. Had our own private veranda. Was about 1.6 miles from downtown Asheville. Went to mass in downtown Asheville’s beautiful basilica, they offered a little tour (no charge) for those visiting at the end which was done by a very nice gentleman. Was very interesting.
Would have been nice to have a small table or shelf on either side of bed. The shower/tub was very large and a little odd where handles were vs shower head. It’s a big step over the tub to get into it. There are 3-4 steps to get into the bathroom. There are also a few steps to get into the room. I say none of this really as a negative, but rather just to inform people who may have issues with stairs.
