Very friendly personnel. Latisha (sp?) checked us in. She was very friendly and helpful with place to eat dinner—the WiFi, the breakfast, etc.

You, of course, can hear the planes outside. But that was the main reason we chose it. Close to the airport! So can’t really say we didn’t like the planes!!

All the staff were very helpful. Diane, at the reception, was happy to answer may questions and showed great consideration and Lee Roy , a shuttle driver, helped me to understand the Transportation Centre in the town. A bus stop to the Transportation Centre which is near pleasant areas with clean, tidy and shady squares with plenty of places to eat and the Convention Centre with outdoor attractive art displays, is close by. The room was very clean and comfortable

The breakfast was mainly packaged but the pancake maker was good and the whole area was very clean and tidy.

They had a room for us even though it was a last-minute choice because of delayed flight. They accommodated us after midnight. Breakfast was included, and although it was limited, it was sufficient.

The desk told us that the shuttle would arrive at at Zone 1 at CLT in about 45 minutes. After more than an hour, I called and the desk informed me that the shuttle would not be arriving at all since it was now after midnight. We had to take an Uber to get the hotel. If we'd known that the shuttle wasn't available, we would've taken a taxi or Uber earlier.

Wingate by Wyndam came through for us when we were in a pinch! We missed our connecting flight recently, returning home from Mexico. We needed to find a spot close to the airport, since the first flight they could put us on was the next morning. The location of the property is very convenient to the airport, and the free shuttle to/from the airport helped keep our costs down. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the staff was beyond accommodating. Thanks so much!

The property is a little dated. But it has been well maintained and suits the needs of a traveler staying for just a night or two. The elevators are terribly slow as well.

Leticia at check in was friendly and lovely, even though it was late and pretty busy to due airport issues for the travelers that were arriving.

I checked in at 10 pm and scheduled the shuttle for 5:15 am. I got to the lobby at 5 am but there were no staff to be found anywhere. When someone finally came to the lobby they said the shuttle had left 3 minutes ago and the next would arrive at 5:30. I ended up having to take an Uber - disappointing after some long days of frustrating travel.

Comfortable beds, and close to the airport.

Had paid prior to arrival, and then the receptionist argued with me and told me I had not paid. After 5 minutes, she then said, "Oh yes, I can see that you have paid." Breakfast was included in the price and was to commence at 6am. We left the hotel at 6.10am to head to the airport and the breakfast room was still in darkness, which was quite disappointing as having breakfast included was one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel.

The front desk staff were wonderful, sweet, and accommodating. I called the front desk and asked for a shuttle pick up, Latisha answered and she ordered it for me. I missed it and she answered happy as can be, and ordered it again for me. When we arrived she was the most pleasant sweet woman to me and my kids. I feel bad because I can’t remember the shuttle drivers name, but she was an absolute gem too, so kind and patient even though she had to drive out twice for us. I couldn’t ask for better staff, and honestly human beings. It was a pleasure meeting them.

Was a spacious, comfortable room. Appreciated the desk as had I Pad with me. My husband enjoyed the lounge couch to watch a TV show. Bathroom was very clean, good thick towels, and had the usual amenities, hairdryer, soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Liked the rack to put suitcase on. The bed was a king size and very comfortable plus comfortable pillows and bedding, duvet. Location at the back of the hotel, 5th floor was quite quiet for most of the stay and night though we did hear quite a bit of talking outside early morning , maybe 3 a.m. or so as , we think, people were leaving for the airport in their cars parked at the back of the hotel. I had early flight so did not have the breakfast. Did get a wake up call which I appreciated. Was a pleasant, not harsh wake up tone. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, both the first woman who assisted with check in and later, Letitia. Gave suggestions for restaurants nearby etc.

Could use a plug in bath tub if wanted a bath not a shower. My husband is at a Conference near Boone this next week and would have stayed here again when back in Charlotte at the end the night before he flies home. However, as he has a very early flight at 6 a.m. , he needed a shuttle by 4:15 a.m. so, as your shuttle didn't start to 5 a.m., he had to book another hotel not far from yours, a bit closer to airport that had a 4 a.m. , 4:15 a.m. shuttle. Would have been happy to stay at Wingate again but needed to be at airport no later than 4:30 a.m.

The room was clean and comfortable. I like that I was able to control the thermostat and set the temperature where I like it. The shuttle to and from the airport was convenient and on time.

The breakfast could have been better. I like that there were waffles but, besides that, there wasn't much else. Most of the items were very sugary. I would have liked some peanut butter.

We were stuck in Charlotte unexpectedly. This hotel had availability, they were accommodating, they had airport pick up and drop off and they had a comfortable chair with ottoman. I also really liked the snack and medication rack by the front desk.

The breakfast provided could have been better explained with the options available.
