Good breakfast for a freebie. Staff, while fairly new at their jobs, were great and responsive. Price was excellent for the area. Location was great - access to Southport and Oak Island within minutes. Great place.

Road construction made access a little dicey at times, but that is temporary and beyond the hotel's control. Traffic along the only road access was also constant and busy. It was noisy when we were on the road frontage side (we used two different rooms during our stay).

My kids loved the fish tank. We loved the free sand pail and shovel and free coffee. The location and staff was great. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Fridge and microwave was handy. pullout bed was great for kids!

Our bathroom could’ve been vacuumed a bit better. For most of our stay on the 3rd floor, the hall smelled of fish, which we did report. The room could use some updating as there is some wear and tear (ex. headboard was torn in some spots and shower could be recaulked). The AC seemed to either freeze us out or the room got too hot with it off.

Great place to stay, breakfast was good, staff was friendly, room was pleasant and the indoor pool was nice.

The Housekeeping service was very poor. Housekeepers never cleaned the room and we had to request Towels and place our used towels and trash outside the door. Toilet flushing problem and TV problems. reported it to the front desk but nobody came and fixed the issues so I had to fix the problem with the pressure tank release valve sticking and not closing preventing the toilet from flushing. I had to work with the receptionist to get the Direct TV box functioning again.

1. The room was very spacious and clean. 2. The King bed was comfortable. 3. There were a lot of items on the breakfast buffet. We especially enjoyed the warm cinnamon buns. 4. The breakfast staff were very attentive to the buffet - making sure that there was always a good supply of food. In addition, they made an effort to sanitize the tables. 5. We had a problem with a light in the bathroom. The staff were very quick to repair the problem.

1. The toilet is not set at an appropriate flush rate. You end up flushing the toilet twice to ensure everything is flushed.

Staff and entrance were very nice. Property was clean and offered many amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Room and beds were clean and comfortable. Great water pressure and shower. Visit Oak Island frequently and this was my first stay here. Will definitely stay again!!

Would have liked to have an additional mirror in the room. There was only a mirror in the bathroom. Nice to have another when getting ready to go out.

Full Breakfast was great every morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet at quiet time. The room was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of outlets for various devices.

Although no fault of the Hotel, there is road construction 🚧 going on and it seems to have swallowed some of the parking for this establishment. The bathrooms in the rooms could use some updating. There is only 1 elevator.

Perfectly located just 6 min from the beach access. This hotel is easily accessed off 211. The indoor pool was perfect for our children to play in rain or shine. Rooms were very clean and the hotel smelled nice throughout. Lastly, the staff was absolutely the best! Each person we spoke with from front desk to maintenance to cleaning crew were incredibly polite. They also accommodated our early check-in.

we enjoyed the entire stay, from the minute we arrived until the time we left. the staff was 100% amazing, every shift. The comfort, the staff, the cleanness, we loved the room, the breakfast the scenery, easy access. we loved it all!!! the keys to the doors was amazing and we felt safe even having to use a key to entire the building. we loved this feature as well.

nothing much to say that we didnt like, we enjoyed every moment. not one bad thing to say.
