Nice hotel, conveniently located for traveling by car. It is very convenient for walking along the river embankment and through the city center. Very friendly and helpful staff (Sara at the reception was stunningly attentive to details) A good view from the room window to the river, but the windows in the room did not open and the room itself is a little inconvenient layout for a family of 4 people. I recommend it for a short stop in Wilmington and sightseeing in the city.

Lovely modern and spacious Hotel on the Wilmington waterfront. Suite style room was well appointed, with good seating, desk, plenty of lighting options, and convenient USB points. Bed was near perfect. The view frim the picture windows was worth the small price uplift. Complimentary early evening drinks were a nice touch, and the breakfast option was both comprehensive and plentiful. The location was peaceful (weekend), an adjoined the riverside boardwalk.

The toilet door was of the sliding variety and was smaller than the door opening.... in effect you couldn't 'close' it in the normal sense.... there was always a 6" gap on one side or the other!

Upon checking out the staff accommodated us which is big for me because I have a Down syndrome son with a lot of medical needs.

The check in process. I didn’t get the same experience as the person next to me. He was offered to join the Hilton Honors, the rep was very engaged and had great conversation. I barely got greeted and when I did, it was just “what can we do for you?” When I said I was checking in, I gave my name and he just stared at me as if I should know what the next step was. He took my ID, asked how many keys I needed and that was it. He didn’t tell me how to get to the room or what the hotel had to offer. I felt unwelcome.

From check-in to check-out, everything was great. The location was great. At the time I booked, didn't realize there was a riverfront boardwalk. That was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and great customer service. The comfort of the bed was incredible!!!!

The area where breakfast was being served was congested. I think it was a bit unorganized. People were standing around in the way of where the food was. I also did not like the fact that parking was an extra charge to park in garage. It was maybe $8 less than valet.

I love the entire staffs attitude. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to your needs! The front desk young lady was exceptional! The dining staff & cooks were very pleasant. Our room was clean!

I dont have a problem with dogs, but I do have a problem with them being allowed on every floor. We had some barking on our floor and a small amount of dog odor. I also didn't like being told about the parking fees when we got there, and some of the pictures of the bathrooms were misleading. Ours may have been an older model!

I’ve stayed there before and enjoyed it both times.

The wait to have valet parking. There was only one person there and everyone was there checking in. He was the most polite young man, he should have had some help. Same way for breakfast there was only one person cooking and he also had to give out the bacon. I saw others people standing around and no one helped him. He was a very polite cook and was working as hard as he could be was still very pleasant. I know I’ll be back. Hopefully there could be more people helping during peak times. Thank you for my wonderful stay.

Clean facilities, pool was wonderful, Location perfect, breakfast outstanding, beds very comfortable, staff was very freindly and informative.

Front entrance driveway was tight, impossible to maneuver with other vehicles there. I had to back up( reverse) all the way down the driveway to get out, being cautious of other vehicles coming in. The back entrance was easier to use. I would suggest that a notification for people with larger vehicles to use the back entrance driveway.

Complimentary breakfast was average. Room quality was high and upgrade to water view was a nice surprise. Location on Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington was top notch with walkable access to nearby concert venue and extensive riverfront boardwalk.

The lack of cleaned tables at breakfast stood out, suggesting lack of sufficient staff to handle the morning rush. Some delays likewise at front desk during stay. Minor wait for valet parking.

This was my second stay at the riverfront. I love the location.

I had three rooms and requested that we be on the same floor. We weren't we were on three different floors!! In one of the rooms the toilet was NOT clean. It looked as if someone had used the bathroom and it hadn't been cleaned.

The beds are super comfortable, the layout of our 2 queen bed suite, STEAM restaurant and Cloud 9 rooftop bar! The free drinks at “happy hour” the lobby/leisure common areas, Most of the staff was very friendly, with the exception of one person when we were checking out. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to see the river and also be close to many other attractions and restaurants! Just a 30 minute drive to the beach from the hotel. We had a fantastic stay!!

The elevator system was insane…like weirdest system ever….also the elevator for the parking garage went out a couple times. When we first got to our room and were checking the beds, there was a blood stain on the mattress pad. Luckily we brought our own sheets and blankets to use which I recommend everyone does in any hotel! The hotel should get rid of all those mattress pads because they have so many reviews on Yelp about blood or stains on them….they should stick with regular sheets that they can discard or get stains out of easier…nobody wants to sleep on something with someone else’s bloodstain. With that being said, our own sheets that we put on the bed easily solved this problem and didn’t take away from our stay at all.
