When we arrived I was told our reservation had been canceled and the hotel was booked. The clerk was very sympathetic as this had happened with others with reservations through Booking.com. After searching she found a room that had not been secured. After several attempts contacting the person who had booked the room failed she contacted the manager who approved giving us the room. Great communications between the manager and clerk! Please note that this was the first time this ever happened with Booking.com whom we've used almost exclusively for several years without a problem so I expect it will be a communication issue to iron out between Avid and Booking.com. Very nice clean and modern. The breakfast was very nice. Good healthy food selection. The electric window blind worked well and the sound effects in the elevator were clever. We would stay there again should we return to Hilliard.

There was nothing we can think of that we didn't like.

It was convenient and close to lots of shopping areas easy to come and go from just a homely vibe

The morning we were leaving there was a man out front hanging around and tried to sell us drugs I told him to get away from my car and he continued to ask me if I wanted ice or fent I said I don't know what that means I won't tell you again to go away from me and my daughter then he walked back to the side of the building I went inside and informed the man at the desk but he acted like it was no big deal so I went back out and left

I love the staff members and they went above and beyond to help us. They were excellent and so nice to my toddlers! They were calm and understanding to my toddlers and I'm very happy with their service and helped to get my debit card out of the safe in the room after my toddler managed to put them in there for fun! I highly recommend this hotel!

The only thing I didn't care about was that their swimming pool was a little cold for my 2 year old. They tried to change the water temperature, but it was still too cold for us.

The breakfast was great with variety of different choices. They didn't have pancakes maker but they already have already breakfast sandwiches and the coffee ready all the time. The room is very interesting design and the staying as amazing. The bed is comfortable and the reception is a very friendly person.

The shower didn't have curtain and no way to pause the water because the water did splash on the floor. Need more shower rugs to prevent the water from falling onto the floor in the bathroom. I didn't like open space shower with no curtain. The bed was a little hard to get out of because it was medium soft and wish to have some kind of a handle to easy to get out of the bed.

It was very clean and front desk woman was very efficient with all the check-ins she had at once. It was a modern and minimalist style which was different and fun

The fridge didn't get very cold and there was a McDonald's frosty still in it when we opened it that was not ideal but we're all human things happen no harm done. The only other thing was very poor water pressure but again not a big problem but for a newer hotel it was surprising and the pillows were very flat for us.

The location was good as it was on the way to where I was travelling. I wish there had been one when I stopped in South Carolina on my first night (travelling from Miami to Traverse City, MI). I didn't have the breakfast or use any other facilities offered, but check-in was super-fast and easy. My room was small, but big enough for my dog and me. I'd love to know where else avid hotels are located. If they are convenient to my travels, I would stay there every time!

This was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. I just can't say enough about it. Great, safe location and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was huge with plenty of room. The shades were automatically controlled with almost no outside ambient light when they were down; this really helps with being able to sleep in! Breakfast included hot sandwiches and an abundance of snacks. Free Coffee 24/7. I was incredibly impressed by the value. 4 stars at an economic price. I so look forward to staying at one again!

Nothing to critique. Place was outstanding!

Check in was easy, rooms were very clean and comfortable! The pool was a little cold but my son and his friend enjoyed it. The staff were amazing and friendly. I called needed room close and they didn't hesitate in helping me. Will always choose to stay here when in the area.

Breakfast could be a little better but there were warm jimmy dean sandwiches and the pool area is kind of small, we were only ones there so it was perfect for us.

We liked the location, cleanliness of the hotel and the hospitality of the employees. Good value for the price. Thank you.

We love hot breakfast like scrambled eggs and potato’s, but the hotel did have some warm breakfast sandwiches. It would have been nice to have a small coffee pot in the room for convenience while staying in the room but we liked the freshly ground coffee system down in the lobby.

Everything! The entire facility is clean and beautiful. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The beds we’re comfortable and the pillows amazing. The breakfast included warm breakfast sandwiches and excellent coffee was available 24/7.
