The staff personnel was very nice and provided me with excellent service. The location of the facility was perfect for my needs as it was very close to my business destination. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

The in-room coffee maker was atop the cabinet that contained the refrigerator and was not plugged in. The only outlet I could locate was under the desk. In order to use the coffee maker, I had to get on my knees and reach under the desk and plug it in. This was difficult for me since I've had multiple back surgeries. It could also be the same for other guests. A remedy to this needs to be found. Perhaps a receptacle mounted higher on the wall or a wall-mounted outlet strip.

I judge budget-friendly hotel rooms by 3 criteria: cleanliness, bed comfort, and properly working showers & toilets. This family-owned property scored 100% on those features. As a bonus, the AC works exceedingly well—a relief on hot summer days! Check in was smooth and courteous. The lobby was clean and the hotel was quiet. The location was a bit difficult to find on the first day, but once you know how to find it, it’s easy to get to. Plus, it’s a convenient 10-15 min drive to the OU campus.

For a property under renovation, it was surprisingly quiet and nonintrusive. The hall walls are getting cosmetic repairs—so I noticed missing baseboards and workers on stilts—but there was hardly any mess or noise. The bedrooms & bathrooms have a mix of new furniture with some outdated fixtures, but again, updates are happening so I’m not sure what the final outcome will be. What was important to me was that everything worked and was clean. I didn’t eat breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. If I had to pick one thing to improve, it would be the towels. They’re the typical budget kind— small and not plush. But that’s not a feature I focus on.

Everything was great the staff, the room, and location since it was by a lot of restaurants and the sooner mall.

I didn’t like how we had to have a $100 deposit when we stayed at nicer ones and it would only be like a $25-$50 deposit.

The AC in our room was the best of any hotel I've ever stayed in! Our room had lots of storage space! The rooms have full length mirrors (some hotels don't, which is always disappointing)! The complimentary breakfast was great! The coffee station in the lobby being my favorite!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with a spotless larger than normal mini-fridge and microwave. The hot breakfast was enjoyable with a slight variation the second day (scrambled eggs in place of sausage links). We highly recommend this hotel.

They had a handicap room for us. Nice and clean.They had a brown bag breakfast which was good for me. It came with a bottle of sunny' D., banana, fruit bar, protein bar, and a muffin. The air conditioner work well. It was nice and cool all nite long. Very good price.

It was difficult to see to read in bed. The lampshade pointed the light down. Might not have been a problem for someone with good eyes.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was worth the price of the room. No gravy for the biscuits. Also, no meats for the breakfast.
