It is a really good location if you want to visit Harris Beach, Myers Creek or Samuel H. Boardman! Bed was really big and the location felt safe. The lady in the office was really sweet! Looks like the pictures

The bathroom was the only big No go. The shower mat was moldy and the toilet was dirty and disgusting. A lot of pubic hair and a lot of sticky stains that showed that nobody cleaned it before. We had a weird feeling after discovering...if they don't clean the toilet after another guest what are they cleaning?

I drove into Brookings in the teeth of a winter rainstorm. The hotel was easily accessible just off the highway. The room was clean and comfortable.

The scent of cleaning products was quite strong on entering the room, even though windows were left open. It cleared through the door as I unloaded luggage. Also, the shower lacked water pressure. I could have missed a setting on the shower head, but I like having enough warm water to rinse off soap and shampoo. I reported the issue, so it will probably be fixed by now.

AmeriCoast Inn is competing in a segment that is often poorly maintained and run down. In this segment, AmeriCoast Inn is better than most. Internet was excellent. Towels were adequate. Everything worked. Light bulbs in all sockets. Relatively roomy bathroom. Comfortable bed. Some recent paint and tile. Easy to figure out heat/AC. The check in staff was the best I’ve ever experienced. Talkative and full of local advice and tips. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Everything worked for me. If you are mobility impaired, you would not want a second floor room. Many tripping hazards between parking lot and second floor rooms.

On Arrival the front office was very pleasant and accommodating. The staff was very helpful. We had 3 rooms we had rented. We were quickly registered. All 3 rooms were very clean, and had been stocked with everything we needed. We were asked if there was anything else we needed. Beds were comfortable. Parking was well lit and plenty of it. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and great staff. We did have a good view from our window.

Walls were a bit thin, so we could hear notices from both sides of the room. Not bad though, we slept very well.

Very friendly and helpful host who gave us a good run down of the eating and drinking establishments in the town. Nice outdoor seats to relax and chat after a log days drive

Nothing really, everything was as expected. Good price and clean facilities

The bed is super comfortable and the AC is pretty strong. The room is adequately clean.

The water pressure of the shower is a bit weak and the curved shower curtain rail is half detached from the wall so I had a hard time fully extending the curtain. The location of our room required us to take a flight of steps up, and then a flight of stairs down. I had a heavy suitcase so that gave me a mild inconvenience.

Location is good and it’s a quiet area

Our first room the bathroom was dirty, heater was kind of iffy so we swapped rooms. 2nd room was better and you could tell had been cleaned recently. Bed was super uncomfortable vs the 1st room. No secondary lock on the door besides the handle locks. One of the drawers was broke on the dresser under the tv

Nice walk to view the ocean. Even though it's right on the highway not a lot of traffic noise. Appeared to be a very safe place to stay. It didn't seem like people were living there in the rooms. It felt like a nice place to stay.

The the refrigerator was very noisy and you couldn't turn on the light without turning on the fan. The fans were a little noisy not only in the room we stayed but in the rooms connected.

Bed was very comfortable, water pressure was amazing for taking a shower and refrigerator was nice and cold and it was nice to have a microwave as a bonus as well as a coffee maker for morning coffee!

Ice machine was at the other end of the building, very loud neighbors above. Also TV had a lot of snow lines running through the screen for the first 5 minutes and appeared to clear up

I like the price. I was surprised that it affordable even it was Thanksgiving week

The bathroom was hard to use the toilet because it was so close to the door. The bedside lamps you couldn't figure out how to make them work. There were switches but I couldn't turn it on.
