This place was amazing!!! So much more than we even expected!!! Everythig about this house was beyond gorgeous, the location, perfect, the home & it's history, genuinely spectacular, coffee, tea & cookies always available, the food was scrumptious 🤌, our room was clean, roomy, accompanied by awesome views from the room windows. The grounds were perfectly manicured & lit up, with places to sit night or day to soak up the pristine atmosphere. And hear the birds, wildlife & the wind gently blowing throughout the grounds...accompanied by butterflies, the huge turkey, squirrel or even deer if you sit & watch. What a GEM we happened on & have wonderful memories to treasure forever...THANK YOU FOR YOUR ABOVE & BEYOND HOSPITALITY 💝
I hated to have to leave!!! I wished we could've stayed longer!!!

This is the place to stay in Eugene for those of us who prefer historic B&B's to modern hotels. It's the little things that make this special. A free glass of wine in the evening. Free breakfasts that start with a scone right out of the oven, and come with a choice of sweet or savory main dish. Staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A beautiful historic building with elaborate gardens. Location in the historic section of Eugene, 2 blocks from downtown.
The bed was a bit small for us.

The breakfasts were very delicious and gourmet. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close walking distance to downtown restaurants. The grounds were beautiful and a good place to sit and have conversation.
The train tracks were a couple blocks away, and the train whistle sounded multiple times as it approached town and went through town all during the night. It was very loud and woke me up. There was no regular staff at the reception desk, and the young woman who checked us in did not give us much orientation. We didn't know there was a refrigerator in the room in a closet. Cleaning was not immaculate.

The staff was great.
I made a nonrefundable reservation, which I will never do again. I got caught in an Ice storm at home. No roads were open for two days and the power was off and on for three days. I tried to cancel my reservation through Booking.com They would not allow it, so I called the Campbell House Inn. The were really helpful, and told me that they would refund my payment if I could get Booking.com to cancel their fee. Booking.com has not responded to my request. It has been four days.

The location was charming, the staff very kind and helpful. The cookies and wine in the evening were delicious, as were the warm breakfast scones, and the landscaping on the grounds was gorgeous. Our room was clean and comfortable, the beds and bedding were very good. Our last two stays in Eugene were at more chaotic locations, near busy streets and with sketchy parking lots, so this felt like an oasis of calm.
The breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed, and the waffles were leathery. If I'd know that the room I'd booked was right next to the dining area, I'd have asked for another one, as it got quite noisy outside our room after 7 a.m. and we are not early risers. A shortage of power outlets is expected at a historic house but the main one available in our room (next to the bed) had strangely loose receptacles, so everything we plugged into it would fall out.

Excellent location near Skinner Butte and a very short walk to restaurants and shops in downtown Eugene. Terrific breakfasts, lovely grounds, kind and accommodating staff, great ventilation, and charming rooms.
I liked everything, just note this isn’t a business/work place with a gazillion outlets for working away from an office. There may be train noise at night. I brought ear plugs but didn’t use them because the train sounds were so infrequent.

Setting and grounds were beautiful. Staff cordial. Location excellent, within walking distance of downtown and adjacent to green space to walk our small dog. Breakfast was very good, available on the patio, so dog-friendly.
The location of our room made it difficult to park, having to back up a one-way street. And our room was quite small, though cozy.

Historical, beautiful
There were several times I was completely ignored for breakfast. I think staff was new? Mickie and a male staff member were great. But just asking for them to come to my table when they were ready and when they asked if I wanted a refill on juice: they asked me, but never brought it. I don’t know if it was where I was sitting, but I was totally invisible. I waited patiently (over 25 min at one point) because I wasn’t in a hurry, but I had to get up and wait outside the kitchen to ask for service several times.

Staff is incredible. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. Be prepared for old world charm. Bathtubs that you climb into to shower but they have properly placed hand grips to help you. Breakfasts are exquisite with choices. Close walking to lovely restaurants in 5the street market area. Definitely returning.
It’s football season and so all rooms are overpriced in Eugene. Would think the rooms should be $200 a night but $300 is what the market will best!

I believe this was my fourth stay at The Campbell House Inn, and I have never had any reason to complain. The rooms are always spotless and well-equipped to support a traveler's needs. The morning meal is always excellent, and the Inn is tolerant of those of us that bring pets along for the trip.
I have no complaints about the facility. I do suggest adding beer to your complimentary arrival drink in the dining room
