The staff here are uniquely wonderful and they’re all personable and courteous. Our stay was comfortable and our room was neat and clean when we checked in (thanks Krystal!). We ate at the restaurant onsite and the food was tasteful with Angela being a wonderful waitress! We did a 2-hr kayak during our stay and Jonathan was so nice in helping us w/ that. Danielle is a hoot and a holler and continued to make us laugh w/ her jokes throughout our stay! We did some birding and it’s cool to just spectate the herons and various birds around the area (like Kingfishers!). Overall our expectations and needs were met by the amenities provided!

Mosquitos! But that can’t be avoided - bring bug spray! The giant long-horned beetles flying around were a little scary due to their size but they’re harmless lol

We booked last minute, just needing a room on a road trip home. This would have been an excellent find if we had arrived earlier. It is a campground and small motel on the lake, with a rustic restaurant looking over the water. The helpful young lady, Lindsey, offered to let us put in an order even though they were about to close. (closing at 8 p.m.) Instead we bought a beer from her and sat on our balcony with the food we had grabbed enroute. It was at the end of a long day, so the 40+ minutes around the lake from Klamath Falls seemed long, but I recommend this basic motel if you have time to enjoy the setting, the sunset and the restaurant. Clean, comfortable, basic room.

Overall it was acceptable. Not the best and not the worst.

The small single bed in the living room in cabin 3. Narrow and uncomfortable. Plus sun coming into window with no shade, only a white curtain. No trash can in kitchen. Guests are also required to remove their own trask out of the cabin, or get charged extra. The outside (grounds) looked disorganized. Garbage on outside of dumpster in plain view. Perhaps a good location for fishermen, as it lacks the typical "resort" amenities. Restaurant only open for dinner, not breakfast. Steep drive down, be extra careful if you drive RV or pull trailer.

Good tasting water. The fridge was good sized. No tea provided, but I brought my own... Had to run water through the coffee maker 3X to get rid of the coffee taste. Good shower, except the hot and cold water was switched. Good bed and pillows. Nice electric fireplace...especially nice in the fall.

The outlet in the bathroom keep clicking off. I tried 2 different blowdryers, and neither would work. Since the hot and cold water was switched in the shower, we wasted a lot of water trying to get the shower to warm up.

The shower in the master room was amazing. The views were outstanding. The staff in the lounge, not so amazing. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The main complaint I have is that the room was not ready when we got there, after the allocated time. We traveled hours to get to this destination to find out there was no shopping close by. We had to travel another 20 minutes to find food for the kids.

The waitress in the restaurant was rude and not very welcoming. She seemed more annoyed that we asked her to do her job. Having to wait two extra hours to get into our cabin after paying the full price was a bit rude as well, but not the end of the world. The left-behind opened food was gross. Make sure to pack plenty of groceries; there are no stores nearby, and the little one on the property had limited to no options.

Beautiful spot, cozy cabin and calm peaceful surroundings. We watched the sunrise from the private dock on a beautiful lake which was a trip highlight. The staff were really helpful when we had to check in late and the cabin had everything we needed. The stars were also incredible here at night. Would 100% recommend.

This is a cabin in the woods, so there was a spider or two around. But all part of the experience!

Loved this place! Room ended up being a very comfortable RV trailer with full amenities, including small kitchen with refrig, stove, oven and dishes and small dining table. Sofa too. And then separate area with bed and BR. Small space but loved having everything you needed for food prep and comfortable sleeping. Location perfect too. Had porch that looked out onto lake. The kayaking was fabulous too. Property located Lake with river - all part of a canoe trail. Really great staff too’

No issues!

Everything! The staff was exceptional! They catered to my needs in every way! They were super friendly. The bed was soooo comfortable. The sheets were like satin. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, among evergreens that had to be 100 years old. The smell was delicious! The on site restaurant had delicious. I sat on the balcony overlooking the lake. It was a delightful experience!

There wasn’t a thing I did not like.

I loved the quietness, both in the evening and in the morning, and the beauty of the sunsets and sunrises. I did not interact with any staff, but did so with some of the other people staying there, and we had pleasant conversations.

My first impression, when arriving, and walking up to the house, was disappointment, as it looked quite shabby from the outside. It needs a refreshing paint job. But inside was very nice. I suggest that the outside be improved, as it gives a first impression.

Utterly gorgeous spot. The view from the deck of the restaurant is jaw-dropping, and the food is good at reasonable cost. We had one of the motel-style rooms and it was well sufficient to our needs. A brief and widespread power outage affected water heating/pumping and left us without a shower for our morning of departure, but that couldn't be helped -- it's the kind of thing that happens when you're some distance from the city. Overall, this resort is a throwback to an older, simpler time and it is absolutely lovely for a short stay like ours or a family getaway.
