room was great. had all we need. shower was great. no hot water problem. breakfast smoothie, scone, donut and pizza and beer were all we had but very good!! also a bottle of very good wine was given to us as our room was not ready when we got there...and we also were upgraded to king from 2 queens which was awesome. we liked we had options like the pool, hot tub, tennis but no time to try them out. Also enjoyed the fire pits!

our fireplace didnt work but we called and someone came right away to fix it which was nice. however it didnt work the next night but we really didnt need it so not a big deal. my only complaint was the bedding - thin sheet/comforter was too light for us ...we like a little heaviness so a blanket would of been nice but just personal preference so again not a big deal. bed was very comfortable.

Gorgeous property with so much to do! Kids ran around and explored (ages 5-16), we enjoyed the tennis courts, basketball court and indoor pool. The walk to the beach was lovely. The spa was gorgeous and serene as were the community fire pits. The food was great and we appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby. Our room was average, the bathroom was very small for 4 people. We had a 2 queen room with a little deck overlooking the golf course. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful.

The toilet was constantly plugged up and we had to call for service. Walls are thin and could hear people talking and walking above and next to us. My massage at the spa was cancelled last minute due to an illness, however they offered complimentary spa access which was appreciated ($90)

Huge room and picture window! The bed was really comfy. We really loved how welcoming they were to our fur babies with treat bags! What a wonderful surprise! We also loved the covered walkways and I especially loved the atmosphere of calm all around because the property was a bit secluded off the highway up in the tries. Very spa-like.

We would have liked to see some more traditional offerings on the menu for room service (or at least a menu). My husband is not an adventurous eater and many of the descriptions were just too far out of his wheelhouse. The room did have a bit of an odor but we got over it after seeing the view and fireplace. The fireplace does warm thr room quite fast but there is no way to cool/vent except fot 2 tiny little windows so we ended up having to stop using the fireplace which was a bummer because it was pouring down rain the entire time.

Room was great, clean, comfortable. We slept really well. The room has a small fridge, two beds, a great fireplace, a balcony, and a small bathroom with bathtub. What we liked the most was the swimming pool area with a dry sauna and a hot tub. It is open from 6am to 10pm and we went there multiple times a day. It was really relaxing. Common areas were also great and there are some restaurants, bakeries, and shops just across the street on a 5 min walk.

There isn't anything we didn't like. If I were to be picky, the swimming pool temperature was on the cold side.

We liked the view from our room, the amenities in the room (good fridge, ice nearby, two sinks in bathroom) and am the amenities in the hotel, albeit we did not use them all. We loved the mid century modern architecture of the hotel and that it was designed by an known architect.

The room was a bit tired. The room service was a bit lacking. They got our order wrong and was missing items in our order. Also, the dishes were paper plates, which were a bit low end for a hotel this expensive, but not a big deal for us.

The bartenders were excellent like top knotch chemists who know exactly how to produce the best quality products. Whole restaurant service staff were wonderful even though they were also helping new staff learn the ropes. Great teamwork and their attention the the customers was wonderful.

They inadvertantly charged me for my whole scheduled stay even though I had to leave 2 days early due to illness/injury. However, once I alerted them, they were quick to refund the charges.

The resort had upgraded our room at no extra cost upon arrival. The location is close to Depot Bay makes a fun day walking through the shops also were you can get black licorice ice cream. If your going for a charter fishing trip being close by is very convent as well. Great resort to stay at will definitely stay again. The quick restaurant has good food we ate breakfast and lunch there. Relaxed by the fire pits was my husbands favorite part its toasty warm.

We had a room with bay view which made it loud from the main highway traffic when the patio door was left open. The room didnt have air conditioning and found a big fan in the closet. We were told by the staff to put the fan in front of the open door to cool the room down but the traffic noise made it hard to watch tv without blasting the volume and we didnt want to disturb the other guests.

we loved the balcony’s and all the beautiful scenery. it felt very private. beautiful location, great food and the service was excellent and everyone was very friendly.

NO in room AIR-CONDITIONING. Its 2022 and this is a 4star resort. All they give you is one Walmart style boxed fan. i get that it’s not very hot at the coast and you can open the door but then you let bugs in your room. so if you go in the summer and you want air circulated in your room all you will have is a boxed fan. our room got to 79 degrees in the night and that’s not comfortable for myself or my family.

Love the view from the room. Room is spacious and comfortable. The golf course.

We miss the original restaurant that was there. Why in the world did you get rid of the mini golf course and replace it with that bike thing? I have NEVER seen anyone use the bike thing. We never have any luck finding that glass bulb in the mornings. We can only afford to come in the dead of winter. Be nice if the rates were lower at nicer times of the year.

This is a beautiful property with a lot to do. It was one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The food was good, creative, large portions and reasonably priced. we had room service for breakfast which was delivered in about 20 minutes. I would stay here again.

Two very minor complaints. There was no sugar for the in-room coffee service so I had to call. It was delivered in about ten minutes but it should just be there. We had room service for breakfast. It was delivered quickly and was hot, which isn’t always the case. My only complaint is they use wood utensils and the forks are terrible. One broke while cutting a waffle. i applaud their efforts to use sustainable and biodegradable products but hopefully they keeping looking for a better product. I have used biodegradable utensils in other places which are closer in design to plastic utensils. Both of these are very minor issues and didn’t adversely affect our stay. Just wanted to mention it.
