Room was clean, location was easy to find. Bed was clean and acceptable, can see part of the Ocean was enjoyable stay.

Location, location, location Perched above Hwy 101 on the inland side, J could see across the parking area to the ocean Restaurants and activities were all within 1/2 mile I liked the generous size of a front room facing west, it had a living room area with a couch and a TV, then a bedroom area with another GV, then the bathroom The room was clean, abd the bed was comfortable

Minor issues due to renovation But Tony at the front desk told me about them ahead of time, and offered to let me stay at a sister property in Newport I’m glad I stayed

The staff was very friendly and eager to make my stay a pleasant one. The room was clean, bed fresh and comfy, and no funny smells. Could not beat the value. It was an older facility but you could tell the staff worked hard to make the most of what they had.....All and all a good night sleep.

Not beach front but hardly their fault.....The TV could have been bigger but I may be a bit spoiled. The hot water mix valve was a bit tricky but reminded me of our first house so....we got by.

Checking in was easy. Layout was nice and the beds were firm but very comfortable for a side sleeper like me. The guy (I'm sure he's the owner) was very very nice and even gave me pointers on how to deal with my credit card company.

On the morning I was to check out, the housekeeper was a bit aggressive on getting me out. Check out was at 11a, but he was knocking on my door a little before ten and kept coming back periodically. I checked out early so he could just leave me alone. He didn't bug the room next to me from what I could tell.

Pillows and bed firm and comfortable. An unsolicited free upgrade to a nicer room was gracious and appreciated. Depoe Bay is becoming a favorite spot, and it's closeness to other wonderful coastal towns just enhance the value q

Quibbles: heat hard to regulate, which has been true in every rental I've stayed at. Could have used an extra blanket, didn't see any, but had my own.(I aso didn't ask).

The staff was very friendly. It's right off the main strip by just a couple of blocks. Front rooms have a great view. I sat with the door open the entire time I was in the room watching whales in the bay from the couch. Central location to Lincoln City or Newport. We spent 5 nights and it was really great!

That we had to leave. 😂

I like the beds, as soon as I lay down I fall asleep. I don't know what it is, but I have yet to ever have a hard time falling asleep right away, even if it's only to take a 2-3 hour nap! Everything is clean, I have never had a dirty room once, and I stay at Four Winds Motel every time I'm in Depoe Bay

Free rooms? hahaha! Yeah, right! I don't have any problem with Four Winds Motel, the rooms are always to my liking, and the staff there are always friendly and full of information about anything Depoe Bay!

The location, it was quiet, and clean no old smell.nice little coffee center , tiny fridge and microwave.

The place is old and needs updated .. no control for the tv, the lights on the inside entry did not work. Over the dinni g table And no one came to fix them . The number on the door was missing and at check out time 11am no one in the office .

We were happy with our room. It was clean and in well repair inside. It had a separate place to sit on the couch and watch TV or to eat something. Everything worked nicely and we liked the bed. We would come back again. Considering the rate we got it for we were quite happy with our room. Depot bay is a wonderful place to stay and it was nice to be so close to town we could have walked easily.

We specified a check in time of 3 o’clock which was within the window they were supposed to be open but nobody was there and the lights were not on. We went to dinner and came back later to check in. The garbage can in the room had not been emptied. The screen doors were falling off their hinges and wouldn’t latch on some of them so they pounded in the wind. We used a stick to shut the one next-door so it was quiet.

Small motel, easy to find. Clean large room. They're remodeling. Nice staff. Surprised how quiet it was since the highway is right there.

2 Narrow steps from parking lot up to the walkway in front of rooms. No rail.
