such a cool location. great beach with huge surf quality waves. Great lighthouse and tidepools minutes away. Walmart is 5 minutes away, as well as lots of food and shopping choices. Hosts were great and have a great place. Ocean and beach views were so fun. Beach is very unique and was so fun.

I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like about this place. They build a nice fire every night and have a cool place to hang out. They will even provide all the stuff to cook your fresh caught crabs and such. My teen daughter absolutely fell in love with the jetted tub in the unit.

Right off the bat, you are welcomed with a jaw dropping view of the Pacific ocean. Next, a perfectly well maintained building and garden. I can't really explain it well enough, but it is like a secret garden where everything has a place and it is extremely well thought of. From what I can observe, the staff that looks after it has a strong connection to this place. I mentioned to the staff that we welcomed our second child a month ago and we were welcomed with freshly cut flowers from the garden and a lovely note congratulating us for our new daughter;. My spouse was very touched by the thoughtful note. They also provided a s'mores kit so we could use it with our two year old at the fire pit they set on every sunset (dependant on weather conditions). Our stay was roomie and was well equiped and clean. The toiletries they use are top notch and even better products we use at home- at some point I thought: "they really want people to enjoy their stay". In a way the staff loves this place so much that they want others to enjoy it as well. The private beach access is very well maintained and we had the beach to ourselves in the evenings and got to watch surfers having a great time in the morning. Before we left, Matt prepared a bath with polished agate rocks for our son which he loved. I am very impressed at the level of hospitality offered here. Definitely coming back to the Starfish point the next time we visit the Newport area.

The view is excellent, either in the room, outside on the many surround decks or down at the beach. The condo had everything you need and if you forget something the office has many items. All the special added “ welcome gifts”, fire pit in the garden area all evening, with graham cracker and s’more fixing in your room. Fresh flowers in your room. Beautiful rocks with a few for people who stay to take home. Ability to cook crabs and ice chest if you what to go crabbing. So Many more, you must stay to enjoy.

This is the most awesome place we have stayed in a long time. The condo itself is fine -- a bit dated but very clean and spacious. It is the beach access, the beach and the multiple decks which are to die for. Private beach access leads to a wildlife wonderland. We found a starfish, jellyfish, mussels, crabs, oysters and a sand dollar. The shared decks are great for morning coffee and happy hour and are so delightful that we never used our own balconies. Staff is amazing: helpful, friendly and we felt like family right away. Run, don't walk, to make your reservation here. Just wonderful!

The condo decor is a bit dated and the guest room doesn't hold a candle to the master (good to know in case you are sharing with friends) but everything else is just plain amazing. Really. I didn't want to leave!

The condos are spacious, floor plan was well thought out (I work in construction so I’ve seen some homes with floor plans where you ask and wonder what the thought process was) love the fire pit, the games, loved the s’mores kit that was provided. At my age, this was my very first s’mores! Lol. It was delightful. My 3 toddlers (all 4 and under) had a blast! There’s more than enough room for them to roam and tire themselves out. My 1 year old especially loved the reading nooks. He loved watching the ocean as it came in and out at the beach. He was mesmerized by it all. The jacuzzi was much needed, as a mom of 3 toddlers, I never do anything for myself, and it was nice to relax for once, my husband watched a movie with the kiddos while I relaxed. The kitchen is well stocked PLUS they have a small bar like area of pantry staples that one might forget. (In my case some sugar and oil) and it was great to not have to make a drive out to get those items. The “property managers” are nice, especially Mario. Very cordial, respectful, and at your service. I stayed in another hotel this weekend for about the same price, and it was not even half as good as this one. We like to come to the coast a lot and stay a night or two each time we come, so we’ve stayed in our fair share of hotels, and this one BY FAR exceeded our expectations. We never plan our trips, but next time I think we will put a little more thought into it and will plan a stay here again FOR SURE! This place is definitely worth every penny. They also provided us with a pack and play where my baby could sleep in. I’ve requested cribs in the past at other hotels and this is the ONLY one that actually came through for us. There were also fresh flowers inside that smelled like a dream! Also, no seafood cooking inside, and they have large pots and barbecue on site to cook. The walk down to the beach was great as well. There’s too many good things to say about this place. If you have a chance, definitely stay here!

If I need to be super super super knit picky, I didnt have a iron to iron out my clothes. I have a dress that wrinkles a lot, would have been nice to have one. I didn’t ask for one either so it’s all on me. It wasn’t a big deal.

Starfish point was beautiful. Spectacular views over the Pacific (we enjoyed watching the surfers). It was extremely well-maintained and clean. The kitchen was fully appointed. Baths were luxuriously furnished. We wished we could have stayed longer! The staff was friendly, helpful and cheerful.

The whole trip was spectacular. The place was clean with beautiful views. The lady in charge was super nice and made us feel right at home right away. I've stayed at some grate places and stayed at some horrible places, this place had everything a big hotel or vacation home would have without having to deal with the hassles that come with a big hotel or vacation home. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of, you can tell someone loves this place with their whole heart. My partner and I will definitely be returning, I can't wait to see what it looks like after winter is completely done

There were a lot of stairs to make it to the beach, it was definitely worth every step tho. The beach was beautiful even in February when it's cold.

It was the BEST hotel during our two week trip along the Oregon coast. We stayed only one day and wanted to prolong it, but it was already fully booked. We will book for three or four days next time.

The hot tub jet system was not very clean. Soapy water came from the jet when we switched it on. We were already in the tub and it was disgusting. The advice: fill the tub, switch on the jet, drain the water and fill it once again.

Had an amazing time at Starfish. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the ocean views, the private access to the beach, and the evening fire pit with complimentary s'mores. Kids had a blast and wanted to stay longer. Even received a gift of agates which the kids will cherish. Hope to come back some time.

Beautiful scenic views from everywhere in our condo! I loved how the condo was split into different levels so that we could see the beautiful beach and bluffs from every room. The master suite was very spacious and had a jacuzzi tub. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
