I loved how lovely and workable the staff was. Any issue that arose they ease the stress and helped out. Even recommended so amazing places to try. Loved how secluded the area was it felt like we were in our own little world. Plenty of outdoor seating which was perfect for taking in the sites but would recommend more lighting near the fireplace. Would definitely consider coming back here we never ended up trying the night club and we were really sad about it because it looked so fun. Overall we really enjoyed our time here!
The first thing I didn’t like was the small tables that were in the room we didn’t really have enough room for our belongings. Another thing was the fact that the TV needed to be connected to an audio device like a speaker which I never knew prior but brought one to originally use to play music but never did since we wanted to watch TV. Another thing was a poorly placed outlet that was above the headboard so anytime we tossed and turned our chargers were ripped out. Lastly, was the lack of a microwave or refrigerator so we were forced to go out or order in anytime we wanted to eat.

Liked the free upgraded room, it was quiet and peaceful. The location was scenic, and close to the ski resorts. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Check in and out was easy peasy. Tv worked great. Also, the resort lobby was nicely decorated.
The shower started to spray above the shower curtain from above the shower head, getting some of our belongings wet. Then, the water pressure does pretty fast until it was a dribble. Couldn’t shower until the morning. Staff were super understanding & sorry about the situation.

They were not serving breakfast, and I leave so early that they wouldn't have been open anyway. The place was like a wonderful summer camp and the rooms were basic and incredibly affordable and the pool was wonderful.
Might've been fun to have a little bit of food available at night or in the morning, but you can't beat it for the price and you can get your food before you get up the mountain. Cute as a button and took me back in time to my childhood summer camp. Classic Poconos!

The loging at Rainbow Mountain is basic and affordable. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Security is prevalent with video cams and personnel. This is a place in which anyone from the LGBTQ can feel protected. The guests interact with eachother and the wonderful care and appreciation of the brilliant team of the employees of Rainbow Mountain There's a community that celebrates life at the pool, a DJ spinning tunes, and coming together. Rainbow Mountain provides that.

As a single heterosexual male I did have some reservations before booking the property, however as soon as I arrived I immediately felt welcome and almost at home. No judgement zone is an understatement this is truly a place where you can be your true self without any concern! The accommodation that I reserved was very basic (and VERY affordable). The area of the motel I stayed in could certainly use some updating and more importantly some heat! But that did not keep me from having a nice quiet night! A couple simple improvements I would like to see on my next visit would be a curtain to block the light from the common hallway and also a clearly marked location to return my room key (I pulled out at 3 am). Upon my next visit I plan to inquire if they would like me to perform some simple repairs to greatly improve the facility.
Room was cold, Magazine left from previous guest was not what I consider to be "reading" material nor my taste, communal bathroom door did not close or latch.

Quiet room, small but clean. Very "Poconos lodge."
The cleaning solution upset my lungs. The bed had a ditch in the middle (single sleeper) which made a couple sleeping in it difficult. The check in limits were shocking when exposed only after buying the non-refundable room. There might also have been check out limits we didn't meet, but at least a gentleman opened the door and took out keys.

The atmosphere, friendly guests and staff, the nightclub and pool was excellent.
One of the showers had a slow drain, and the curtain wasn't long enough, so the floor got a little wet. Wasn't able to go paddle boating

We liked that the property was not too far from home. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool was nice and big. It was quite relaxing and it help to distress us from the city life.
The only thing we did not like was that the check in time could have been earlier instead of at 4 pm.

The staff were so very kind and friendly and could always answer any question. Everyone enjoyed the modern look of the refurbished Lodge rooms. As good as the Z Soho Hotel in London West End.
With Respect, I feel the RMR needs to have more than one coffee urn for breakfast for a hotel full of people- ( with this number I'm including the cottages and Cherry House) Put out two coffee urns..`when one is empty the receptionist will know that it's time to make another pot of coffee- Also you might consider leaveing a quart of half @ half on ice for the guests as well.

The view and all around vibe absolutely beautiful! Staff was helpful, kind and very informative with any and all my questions. Both online and in person. Staff was constantly working on improving what looked to be a patio off the side of the main lodge. Which is always a plus! Seclusion from hustle and bustle what amazing! I ADORE the old school tile bathroom in my suite! I love the decorative photos in my room itself. Reminds me of how it was when we had to hide who we were and the people that paved the way for us to be out and proud! Other guests were awesome. The bed was absolutely phenomenal! I’ll definitely be back! ♥️🌈
Not so much as in “didn’t like” but more a constructive opinion (I hope). Given the property is indeed “older” and it’s definitely being taken care, the damp smell is to be expected…but maybe some of those Cedar blocks or something to help tone it down a bit or maybe even to moisture things you can get pretty cheap just about anywhere. That’s really my only “dislike” but definitely not enough to warrant a “bad review” at all.
