What I loved about the property is the location. The property sits in an up and coming community, however, the property itself remains true to its roots, hood ole country living. It was a great escape from the stresses of life and work. It reminded me of my childhood staying with my grandparents, hearing the sound of the rooster, the cows in the field and of course the horses. Then, waking in the morning to the smell of breakfast, such nostalgia.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the bed was a little hard for my liking, but my husband didn’t have a problem with it at all.

We chose to stay here because of its close proximity to Hershey and Lancaster. Other areas like Harrisburg and Gettysburg are also within easy driving distance, It is a lovely B&B, very comfortable and homey. Our host, Tim, was very friendly and accommodating, The setting is beautiful, out in the country surrounded mostly by farmland but not far from the town of Elizabethtown with restaurants and shopping. It was nice to have a coffee & snack bar in the hallway outside our room with access to ice for our cooler.

The mattress was much softer than we prefer. The breakfast food was delicious but could have been hotter. We were told breakfast was served between 8 & 9 a.m. Since we didn't arrive at the dining room till around 8:30 the food wasn't as warm as it could have been.

The property was located in a beautiful setting in the county. Our room was very spacious (we had the wicker room) which had a balcony. Our hosts were so great. I had asked for help with finding a bakery nearby and Tim gave me a wonderful choice and allowed me to store the cake in their refrigerator. I would come back again ❣️

Can’t really say anything negative. Perhaps the decor of the bathroom might be a bit outdated, but it was clean and perfect for our stay.

The breakfast was great! Tim was very cordial when we showed up at breakfast. The coffee/water/snack station was nice and loved the convenience of being able to have a hot drink and purchase bottled water when we arrived in the early evening. The room was large and comfortable.

The sign out front by the road was small and even though we had directions it was dark when we arrived so we pulled in the other driveway to turn around and figured we must be at the right place as we saw "guest house" on the building. We did figure it out though.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The place is immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning. Outside there are friendly cows and horses that came up to us and we were able to give them treats.

This is mostly due to my lack of research, but there aren't many restaurants or anything else in close proximity to the B&B. It is however centrally located and there are several options within 30min drive.

The West Ridge B&B was a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Tim and Susan were amazing hosts - they were friendly, caring, and had great ideas for places to eat and visit. The B&B was out in the country, but a few minutes away from Elizabethtown.. Their breakfasts were outstanding - with quiches and egg casseroles, fresh fruit, and the absolutely most incredible pastries such as apple dumplings and cream cheese homemade danish. The Victorian room was roomy and immaculately clean…with a sitting area and very comfortable bed. There was a coffee and tea spot down the hall for getting snacks or drinks in the evenings. There was plenty of parking, and with GPS was easy to find. Quite a few of the guests had been there previously and were greeted warmly. Staying there felt like visiting a friend’s home - it was so welcoming. We will recommend this B&B to friends…and would plan to stay here again when we come back to Pennsylvania.

There is nothing that we didn’t like.

The breakfast was wonderful and so fresh and good, also good variety. Nice atmosphere and Tim was there to see we had everything we needed. Also good conversation. Very helpful. In Tim & Susan's "spare" time they could write a cookbook. It would be on my shelf.

What could have been better? If we were able to stay an extra night or two. But had commitments back home.

This was our second time staying here, with a different room this time. Both rooms were large and we had plenty of space for our things and to relax. We slept great as the bed was very comfortable, and the AC kept us cool. Breakfast was convenient and tasted great. Everything was homemade! We'll definitely come here again. Thanks for a great stay!

Susan and Tim were wonderfully welcoming. The accommodations were clean and inviting. We stayed in the Wicker room and would definitely choose that room in the future. The breakfast was out of this world! Table set beautifully with China, served at our personally appointed time, fresh fruit, freshly baked pastries and freshly cooked meal. One day was chocolate scones, eggs, bacon, potatoes. Next day was cheese and Canadian bacon quiche with baked Peach oatmeal. Unbelievable! Also enjoyed the Keurig coffee available upon wake up. The lights were always on and the temperature was warm when we arrived in the evenings. Would a thousand percent recommend!!!

Absolutely nothing was negative

We had a stay in the Wicker room recently, and it was the cutest and prettiest room I have ever stayed in. There was a nice balcony that I sadly didn’t get to use much due to time and it being cold, but I loved the view outside, especially seeing the horses, and having the sun wake us up in the morning. Everything was clean and practically everything that I wanted was within reach. There was a coffee and snack bar outside our room that I would use to get nightly decaf coffee. The owners were so nice to us. Due to some traffic issues, we ended up arriving very late and disturbing them at the main house. Tim kindly showed us the correct guest house, and his attitude really started our vacation off right. One of the best things about this hotel is the breakfast. It was so delicious, and I had to go back for seconds both days we stayed there. We were told by another couple that Tim and Susan really set the bar high for Bed and Breakfasts, and I am inclined to believe them. This was our first Bed and Breakfast, and I’m not sure how anyone could beat their standard. It was a lovely time; and whenever we come back to Pennsylvania, we plan to come here again.

I wasn’t able to locate a microwave, but I did not ask if one was available.
