Location was perfect! Everything you need right outside the door! Right in the center of Lincoln Square. Parking was in alleyway steps from room. In addition there is parking in a garage, 3 min walk! Outside townhouse is a beautiful small courtyard. Eva Townhouse was 3 full bedrooms, full kitchen/with sitting table, plus a great size living room. Nice size bathroom with shower tub combo plus washer/dryer! Owner was very nice and prompt with communications to our questions. If your lucky, and The Inn at Lincoln Square is available, Book it! Shops, local historic history & Lively restaurants are steps away! We highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

No TV's in the bedrooms, this is a minor thing because most of your time is spend steps outside enjoying Lincoln Square!

Fantastic location in an historic building at the very center of Gettysburg. We had the very large ground level Mary Julia Danner suite, directly off the main entry hallway, facing the square. It was well-equipped, with full kitchen, fireplace, etc., and was very comfortable. Dedicated off-street parking was a bonus, and the location allowed us to walk to dinner both nights at one of the several dozen restaurants within easy walking distance. The historic David Wills house (where Lincoln stayed--run by the NPS) is next door, as is the very good Blue & Gray Bar and Grill. Management provided clear and timely entry and parking instructions, they were responsive to questions, and the Inn provided a binder providing comprehensive information about the Inland area. Our two night stay could not have been better.

Nothing--it was all quite nice.

The location could not have been better, smack dab at Lincoln Square, with a statue of Abe Lincoln in front, and people walking around in Civil War era garb. The inside furnishings were opulent, with a raised king bed that had a stepstool to enter, antique furniture, quilts, a "hideaway" kitchenette, and a large modern bathroom. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed.

Parking was a bit of a pain. When I first arrived, I had to park in a rear alley, get out, and walk all around the square to get oriented, and figure out where the three spaces behind the Inn were located. Those spaces were taken, so I then walked around to locate the nearby parking garage and find the other two reserved spaces, of which one was available. After dropping off my bags near the room,(and retrieving the parking pass) , I was able to park at the garage, and then walk from there to the room only took 3-4 minutes. ( The walk was good, because in the process I discovered the Blue and Gray Pub, an ice cream stand, and a Civil War relic shop). The next day I was able to park right behind the Inn.

Stayed two nights. We didn't meet the owners but communication from them was excellent. Stayed in the Irene Danner suite. Plenty of room, a gorgeous four poster bed with steps up that I needed! Also a lovely sitting room and kitchen facilities that we didn't need but appreciate some might. Location is right in the centre near plenty of bars & places to eat. The owners supply plenty of information about the area in the room.

Prefer a stand alone shower rather than one over the bath but appreciate it is a beautiful period property and it really wasn't an issue at all.

There wasn't breakfast. But the hotel is close to many different breakfast options. The location is right next to "Blue & Gray, an iconic, low-key pub that's a great place to grab a beer and a burger and watch a game (we watched games 1 & 2 of the Philly v. Astros World Series). Late night? Roll over, and you're in bed.

The room itself is very quaint and historic. The amenities (appliances, bedding, bed quality) could be updated. I would have loved a few more ghosts. Don't expect a staff! You get a door code for the front door and your room. No Staff is present except for housekeeping when needed. Not a dislike, just something to be aware of.

Great location, beautiful well kept inn. Excellent communication from owners. Easy check in and check out. Well equipped little kitchen tucked neatly behind doors. Extremely roomy and comfortable. Felt safe traveling alone with my 10 year old son.

Other guests woke us up around 10:30pm playing loud music, singing, and clapping loudly. We did not complain to owners, but it was apparent that wall are thin. No fault of the owners for their rude guests. This went on for at least an hour and half until I believe someone asked them to be quiet. Other than this there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Inn is well represented in ictures and details of the inn’s site.

Loved the old colonial charm, perfect location, comfortable with all the amenities of home, beautifully decorated, and a great value. It was like stepping back to the times of the Civil War only tastefully updated to satisfy our modern needs. We loved it and would come back without hesitation.

Nothing! (Yes the house was old but the creaky narrow steps added to the charm. We did not want a Holiday Inn, we got to experience the local history...perfect!)

Great instructions for parking & how to enter. Very spacious and charming room. It felt more like an apartment. Loved that we had a kitchen. The 4 post bed is beautiful. The bathroom is nice & large. Great location & walking distance to everything. Perfectly located in the center of town!

I wanted to Buy one of those Lincoln Inn coffee mugs that is on the tables when you enter, but there were no prices & no one to ask. Maybe they're not for sale? That would be good to know too.

This is the ideal location for exploring downtown Gettysburg. The inn is one of only 3 original buildings on the central square that were present during the 1860s. It is beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable. Parking is located behind the building or across the street in guaranteed spaces.

The Inn at Lincoln Square is a historic building in the heart of Gettysburg, lovingly preserved and maintained. We stayed on the third floor in the Annie Danner Suite, a large ensuite room with original wood flooring and exposed beams, with a comfortable king bed, chairs, a sofa and small kitchen. The location was fantastic -- you leave the inn to step right into the town square.
