We upgraded to room 204. Paid an extra 65 plus tax for it well worth it. I tried to get some money off seeing how it was late and the room would have went unrented but that’s ok, loved the upgrade,,,thank you. Clean room, nice pressure in shower, nice view.

Breakfast was ok. It’s all Carbs. We don’t usually eat a lot of carbs. It should be on low alternative to just carbs. Some fruit or or something along those lines. Also along with the regular coffee may be some decaf coffee. But that’s it.

The location cannot be beat, staff was very friendly, rooms were nice and large, with fairly comfortable beds. The hotel was overall a great, given the reasonable price, great location and quality of the room.

Cleanliness. When I arrived there was food left in the fridge from the prior guest and a used towel had been left hanging to dry on the bathroom door hook. Staff at the front desk however was very apologetic and remedied it right away.

Great location and rooms were comfortable and exceptional clean.

No elevators and stairwells were tight and rather steep. It made bringing up suitcases quite an adventure. If we were 40 years younger it would not be a problem but at 73 it was a chore. Room rate included breakfast that staff member called “grab and go.” Only coffee or tea with bagged Lenders bagels or cold cereal to eat on the run. No place to sit and eat so went out every morning to a restaurant. If you advertise free breakfast with the room rate at least have it or don’t pretend you do. Disappointed with that to be sure.

The ocean view was wonderful! There were flowers decorating the entrance and there were plenty of spots to sit and take in the beautiful view.

Even though the ocean was right across the street from the hotel, the actual beach was down the street. It was a bit of a walk for anyone with young children. You would probably want to drive and drop off your family and belongings, and then leave your car at the hotel or if you could get it, park for free on the side of the street. Even though these spots tend to go early, it helps if you could park a bit closer to the actual beach.

Location is awesome. Liked that some rooms were the "motel" type, where you can park right in front of your room. We were given an inside, upstairs room initially, that was only accessible by a steep stairway. The desk clerk was nice enough to change our room to one on the first floor. We appreciated that.

There was a billing error where we were overcharged, and when it was brought to their attention they billed me again for the correct amount. But the original, incorrect amount also remains as a charge even after three days from first bringing it to their attention. I'm confident it will be resolved and hope no further action will be required on my part.

This is a well maintained historic property right on the Atlantic Ocean. The staff was fantastic, the standard room was quiet, large enough for 3 adults and very well appointed. It is easy to get to, and parking is plentiful. There is cold breakfast available downstairs with coffee and tea. If you want more, there is shopping and restaurants less than half mile away. About half a mile from public beach access. We were very happy with our stay.

Both mattresses were soft and lumpy.

The room was much nicer than other reviews led me to expect -- it was large and had a couch and comfy chair and a fantastic view. The bed was a little soft but fine. The balcony was small but adequate, and I spent a lot of time out there just looking at the ocean. (The overhang came in handy during the day when the sun was bright.) There's a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was bare-bones, but I brought protein powder to mix into my coffee and enjoyed the Froot Loops. This is not a five-star hotel -- or even a three-star one. It's a basic place to stay -- with the ocean outside your window. For me, that was the important thing.

The towels were small and rough. I could have used a few more hangers, especially if I hadn't been alone. My last night, when the hotel filled up a bit, I could hear people in other rooms.

The location was unbeatable overlooking the ocean and within easy walking distance of everything in Narragansett - our room had a terrace and a separate sitting room looking at the sea - though the hotel is slightly old fashioned it is clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful

The breakfast offerings are very basic

The location couldn't be more perfect. It's literally across the street from the ocean with a magnificent view and the most popular landmark in Narragansett (The Towers), not to mention the Coast Guard House which is an amazing restaurant. The beach itself and places to eat and drink are all well within walking distance. We arrived about 6 hours before check in and they still gave us a parking pass for the lot.

It's not the most high end place in the world, but it didn't matter at all. We had all we needed.
