The Staff is very friendly. The room was spacious & clean but could use a little updating (I don't care for carpeting). The breakfast is above average with eggs, waffles & breakfast meats but I would have liked more fresh fruit. The bill/receipt is considerably higher than expected. I was told "incidental" charges will drop off but I don't see any "incidental" items listed.

Although the room itself was very quiet the neighborhood is noisy w/high traffic roads. I like to hike/walk & there really isn't anywhere nearby to enjoy a walk.

Besides my answers above… having an option to rent newly released and older movies would have been a HUGE PLUS. However you having multiple premium movie channels was a big hit with me and my woman. The only big negative that that really bothered us was the CURTAINS! The do not close together completely for privacy. We were on the bottom floor in room 131. I had to physically overlap the curtains and push my shoes against the window on top of the air conditioner to keep them closed so no one with bad intentions could peek in at the middle of the night. This was a bit disturbing. The breakfast was pretty good. We saved a little money this morning. We didn’t have chance to take a dip in the pool because we only stayed one night. Overall this is a very nice hotel and we give you guys a 8.7out of 10. It would’ve been higher but those curtains have to be addressed.

I have had an amazing experience at every Hampton, which is why I chose this hotel. Wonderful staff, clean, welcoming. I traveled with a friend who has high anxiety in hotels, and she felt safe here. Bonus: at breakfast I filled a water bottle in the water part of the juice machine, but it did not fit well because of the tray. A staff member saw, and when I came back with another water bottle she came over with a big smile and removed the tray to make it easier to fill. This was a tiny gesture that made a huge impact. Thank you for having amazing people.

It looks dated, in need of refurbishing. The bathroom was clean but there were areas with mold on corners. We had asked for a high floor and were given a first floor room, upon request the best they could do was a second floor. I had called to ask if the rooms had a refrigerator with a small freezer since my husband uses a med that needs to be frozen. The freezer was not working properly ( the ice cream melted), and I had to go to a Publix nearby to get dry-ice to keep them frozen.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There were several options during breakfast. We had 2 rooms and The clerk entered my name wrong, which caused a mixup when my brother tried to check into his room. It also caused a problem with logging on to the WiFi. The other, more serious issue was the cockroach on the counter in the King Suite, for which my brother paid almost $200. I would expect better for a room in that price range. Maybe not in Savannah?????

Other than the cockroach and rooms with NO view, things were very nice.

We didn't eat breakfast there, since the checking in attendant referred us to several great place to try. Each one very good. We pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable she was.

Well at first the attendant said we didn't a room reservation. something about the app i used to book it placed my name in backwards. So we had to wait about hour for a room to be cleaned for us. Bed frame in room was very rickety and noisy.

Breakfast, cleanliness, comfort

Was charged more than agreed rate on booking. They hold 70 over for incidentals and charged 5 dollars over quote for some made up fee.

Staff was great. Room and bathroom were as expected. Air conditioner worked well. We had a large enough sitting area in which to keep our excessive amount of luggage. The lobby was especially attractive and the breakfast was excellent. The laundry room was conveniently located and had sufficient equipment. Finally, the hotel was central to all the Charleston-area attractions we wanted to reach, with the added benefit that we could park our own car, which we probably could not have if we had been in downtown.

There was only one working elevator at the time we were there, which made for occasional long waits. Also, the bedding gave us a few fits, as the sheets seemed to be too small for the king-size bed and we are routinely perplexed by the comforters that all Hampton Inns use on their beds. But, fortunately, they usually also provide regular blankets in the closets that we switch out for the weird comforters. Finally, we had a connector room with the connector door dead-bolted shut, but one of our nights we were kept up by a group of loud teenage girls in the next room who blabbed late into the night and we were privy to much of what they said.

We asked for a room cleaning the morning of and front staff said we had to let them know the night before. So our room was never freshened and we had to empty our own trash, get our own towels, toilet paper etc. Also the ice maker was not working.

I enjoyed the seperated room with door allowing us privacy.

The price should have been more consistent
