The rooms are large and can easily accommodate 6 people especially since the pull-out bed has a curtain offering privacy. The breakfast is better than average. This hotel provides a lot of value for the money. Although not in downtown Charleston, the location is great since you are in between Charleston, the beach, and the airport. There are a lot of great restaurants on the same road as this hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with kids at The Citadel or College of Charleston or if you are visiting Charleston for vacation or Children's Hospital.

Small but annoying issues: The tissue box was nearly empty when I arrived and when they came to clean, never replenished. I should have alerted them to it but neglected to, unfortunately. And another in our party needed an additional pillow and called down to desk for one. They had it available but no one to bring it up to the room so guest who was already in pjs had to dress again to get pillow

The room size was awesome, very large. Decor was nice. The location was great, about 5 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Folly Beach. There's a fridge in the room, dishwasher, microwave and all that. I can't wait to return. My travel companion loved it.

The pool was small. That's about it. Breakfast was ok, not spectacular, but also nothing to complain about. The dislikes are minor and do not influence my recommendation of this facility.

The location was good, not too far from Folly beach (considering the price difference for closer hotels) and lots of amenities nearby. We especially loved the space and cleanliness of the room. The staff was great and the breakfast was way better than I expected with tons of options. Would definitely stay recommended and stay again next time we visit the area!

I can’t think of anything that would have made the stay better.

Cleanliness, free beverage service, free breakfast with grab & go offerings. We stated a Home2 in Owings Mills, Maryland, and they had a body wash dispenser in the shower, as well as a body lotion dispenser at the sink area. Home2 is one of the few hotels that offer two queen size beds in a suite.

We had to leave at 6 am, so we would have appreciated the breakfast being available a little earlier. We did grab some things in a to go box.

Loved the space in the rooms very clean bed and pillows were amazing.

The breakfast I felt the time window was too early and didn’t give people enough time. The parking was horrible because of the workers construction and trailers taking up to much would of just liked to have been told at check in where overflow parking was.

The rooms were nice and spacious. There's a dishwasher, full fridge and they have hot plates available if you want to cook. I appreciated the iron and full ironing board since a lot of hotels dont have them now.

I didn't like that they charged my card for the full stay hours before I arrived. I was getting on a plane and received a notification that my card had been charged, not authorized, charged for the full stay. Neither their customer service nor booking.com's respond to my messages in the booking.com app.

I love that this hotel is exceptionally clean (lobby, rooms, etc), and also reasonably priced. The breakfast was just ok, but I’m not concerned with that. Overall, it’s a wonderful stay!

The woman who checked me in wasn’t very friendly and acted like she was doing me a favor.

The rooms were spacious and it was nice having a full size fridge and freezer in the room. The standup shower instead of a tub was also great. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was nice and the food was very good. I would definitely stay here again. The kids loved that it was pet friendly, they loved seeing everyone walking their dogs around the property.

I missed having a balcony to dry towels and swimwear. A little more variety with the breakfast would have been great but only because our stay was lengthy.

Love the rooms, love the vibe here, its clean and bright and welcoming. The well equipped kitchens are terrific. The housekeeping and breakfast staff are so friendly and helpful. We stay with our doggies and enjoy walking the well-lit, well-maintained grounds.

Front desk staff has been not so great, being unable to locate paid reservations, maybe not well trained on booking system, just difficult.
