The facility itself was very nice. Modern and clean. The staff person that checked us in was wonderful. The breakfast on the other hand left much to be desired. There was no coffee, no waffle batter, no milk, no yogurt, no orange juice..... One person was working hard at making breakfast sandwiches and eggs and another one was just standing there. When a guest informed her that there was no coffee she was quite put out and finally went and made some. She finally made some waffle batter also. There were many, many people trying to get something to eat. When I approached the person at the counter about the situation, her only answer was that the truck had not arrived. I do get that sometimes there is supply issues but this time there was also staffing issues. There was obviously coffee and waffle mix and enough ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches and eggs but only one person willing to hustle.

I had to pay accident fee that I didn't know about so I had to pay an extra $80.00 and I wasn't aware of that or pleased with.

We were welcomed warmly to the SpringHill suites Marriott Charleston airport and convention center. Our room 211 was very clean and spacious although carpeted. Breakfast came with our stay and it was a complete breakfast area with eggs, bacon / ham / sausage, oatmeal, waffles, bagels or muffins, yogurts and fruit, juices. Most diets could be accommodated. Walking distance to coliseum and fine arts center. Central to 526 and 26. There was an exercise area, pool and outdoor seating.

Parking was a premium. At times could hear water running, Walls were a little thinner than anticipated for such Nice accommodations. And doors could close with a thud.

Breakfast is always nice to have included. Overall, the waffles muffins and eggs were a treat. My favorite item is the oatmeal. Loved the juices and milk. The room was very spacious and updated. The pool was small but nice and never occupied during or stay. The 24 workout room was nice as well. All the staff were friendly.

Often, it was shut down 1/2 hour early or with items running out hour early and not replenished. 3 days, I had no oatmeal to eat. We had clogged drains in sink and tub upon check in. But, the sink was repaired promptly.

Great breakfast, great location-near the highway, but not noisy, close to a shopping center and a range of food venues. I liked that the sofa was a trundle bed and NOT a sofa bed! We travel with two teens that don't share a bed and this was a great and much more comfortable option.

Possibly more secure parking, like having a security guard on duty, it didn't seem like a dangerous area, but as we were traveling to the beach, and parking was more or less road-side, I felt we had to unpack everything we brought and take it upstairs to our room.

the staff was amazing, Angelic at the receptionist desk was wonderful and so helpful. the rooms were just as beautiful as the pictures on the site. and the price for a nice hotel in such a nice area was an amazing find. we’ll definitely be returning for another trip and I will definitely recommend for friends and family to come here if ever in the area.

Clean. Comfortable. Good location that's close to the airport and 15 mins from downtown and Mt Pleasant. Weekday continental breakfast was pretty standard with ham/bacon and sausage with scrambled eggs. They had a waffle maker, which is a nice bonus. Gym is ok. Has a guest laundry room. Ok value - paid 407 for 3 Nov nights (Sat-Mon)

Weekend continental breakfast has that ridiculous turkey sausage. They ran out of OJ on my last morning there. Laundry room uses a stupid app. Tv controls are delayed and buggy. Marriott mobile key is only available if you reserve via Marriott rather than booking.com. Parking can be tough as the number of spaces doesn't seem to be enough to accommodate the number of guest vehicles.

The location was convenient - easy access to/from Charleston Airport, and a short drive to downtown Charleston. Plenty of parking spaces, spacious room, very helpful staff (appreciated).

It seems to be something quite standard in the US, though I thought breakfast ending at 9:00am was too early. With a check-out time at 11:00, it could easily be extended to 10:00. If I am on holiday, rushing to breakfast is not really on the list. Also, the aircon unit was right next to one of the beds, so it was pretty uncomfortable (and noisy). We tried to switch it off, at least for the night, though it would not completely switch off either...

I really like the location. It was close to everything that we needed shopping, restaurants.

The only downfall I would say is the placement of the TV in the room with the two queen beds with the pull out bed. room was huge. really weird placement of tv lol and we asked for extra pillows because we needed to use the trundle . They said they didn’t have the key to the pillow room, which was strange.
