Nice hotel. Very colorful and fun. Great place for families and groups traveling together because the lobby area has a pool table, lots of games, and lots of areas to hang out. Free breakfast and coffee were very good. Staff was so friendly - I felt like they loved their jobs. Loved the soap and lotion! Loved the music played in common areas. Location was easy to get to and not far from downtown. Very close to the zoo.

The rooms were nice, but not very spacious. With 3 of us in the room (with 2 queen beds) it was hard to open suitcases and spread out.

This was our first time staying at a Tru by Hilton. Our reservation wasn’t pulling up at check in even though we had a confirmation number. I didn’t catch her name but the employee at the front desk handled it so well and professionally. When we got to our room it smelled like cleaning product which is very reassuring in these times. We were surprised by the minimalistic style of the room but really enjoyed it. Overall,a very comfortable stay!

This hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and it is close to everything. For this location the rate and hotel are amazing!

Both nights I stayed here the late night staff was not at the desk at check in. The first time it was well after hours 3am I had forgotten my key. I rang the bill for several moments before another couple let me in where I stood at the desk for a few moments before being attended to. The second time the staff came out explained she had been in the restroom which was completely understandable however while working to complete my check in she was texting and I had to ask if I needed to do anything else. She replied that the computer had not buzzed to let her know my card had gone through. I thought that had she been attending to me not her texts she would have known that.

The breakfast was good. I really liked the design and setup of the room and had a very comfortable stay. It was a user-friendly design with lots of plugs and USB ports for electronics. The desk was nice to do some homework.

The location made it a little difficult to get dinner at night without driving downtown. It would be nice to have a closer dinner spot. The shower seemed to leak on the floor even though I had the glass door closed all the way. I brought back some leftover food one night and it would have been really nice to have a microwave but the room did not have one.

The hotel is up to date modern! The visual upon entry is eye catching and they are a pet friendly property. The staff- AWSOME! Lisa, Tempestt, Phyllis, Tariq, Rhonda, Tamela, Jocelyn, and Donte are only some of the staff I encountered and it was a pleasure and a comfort to meet them all. I traveled with my mom, she is in her seventies, and the staffs compassion and attention during our conversations allowed her to relax and feel safe during our stay. If there is staff that I did not mention only because I did not have the chance to talk with you, I have to show an extra portion of gratitude to Phyllis I experienced her as she was on point and on top of all things happening during my stay! THANK YOU ALL, SEE you DURING OUR NEXT STAY!!!

Always a wonderful, peaceful, safe night! I can bring my children or have a girls’/romantic night and it’s still perfect. Thank you for always remaining clean, safe and holding standards exceptionally high.

your front desk attendant needs recognition for her amazing customer service skills, welcoming smile, and impeccable efficiency- I not only noted this personally, but to each and every guest, co worker, and phone conversation she had. I’m sure there’s your fair share of unhappy guests time to time, and embarrassing as it is to admit, I checked in past midnight due to my booking 30 minutes away being cancelled due to a washing procedure Expedia does apparently. Are you kidding me?! Not to get too far off subject, there were 4 rooms showing available but the front desk at the said they were completely booked. That’s not ok. Don’t assume 4 guests won’t show up. How greedy to put your real live guests not only in a financial obligation but to have them come to their booking they just drove 45 minutes out of their way due to loving Hilton Hotels, knowing already at best to get a few hours of sleep, and you’re told there’s no rooms. Wow. Well, I wanted to give the Tru Hotel a chance. Really my last chance. Not only did she turn my attitude COMPLETELY around, she promptly reassured me a room was definitely available. My husband and I actually came down and played 3 games of pool. I lost my arm 5 years ago, and my husband used to be on a pool league, but I actually won 2/3 games. Last night I taught myself to do something again I used to enjoy- no assistive devices needed. I also run a very active Off-road club, drive stick shift, and have my own shop we build Jeeps out of. I’ve even picked up welding. Falling in love with things you’re passionate about is what keeps you going when you face the losses I have, and I can say without a doubt your employee working last night will be forever remembered, and we’ll be staying at every Tru Hotel we can when we travel- and on average that’s atleast every other month.

I seriously can’t say one negative comment. Hopefully you can show the employee at the desk how much she is valued. In a world with such a dramatic decline in face to face interactions, she has excelled in these skills, and as a business owner myself, that’s a priceless quality to deliver to each and every person coming through your front doors.

Room was clean and cozy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating! Bed was comfy and the room was a nice temperature. Bathroom provided everything needed, soap shampoos and lotion as well as new clean towels .

I have no complaints

It was neat and clean, games for. Little kids, pool table, huge tictactoe, printer to use free, free coffee, nice swings and sofas in living room, v. Good breakfast (only dairy milk choice), uncomplicated, easy. I'd stay again no second thought.

The hotel was fine. Booking.com let me down, as the hotel had no record of my reservation. Luckily, they still had rooms, and there was no issue. They actually were able to beat the rate I was given by booking.com. I'm thinking about uninstalling Booking.com and using another service.
