This Hampton Inn is clean, appointed as per usual, and in a good location with easy access to the Mo-Pac, the Domain, etc. What made it stand out to me was the exceptional customer service - a rarity these days. From the lovely lady who checked us in (way early, in fact) to the cleaning staff who always had a smile and pleasant greeting - everyone working for this hotel was pleasant and friendly and took a moment to meet your eye and say hello in a friendly manner. It's not that common to have that happen in a hotel anymore. Very exceptional staff.

A/C might need servicing in our room. While it made the room cold, it did not remove the humidity, resulting in a cold, sort of clammy environment, not a cool dry one. This stay was in May, when it wasn't even terribly humid outside!

Good hotel. Sure one step higher than most of the Wyndham hotels. But not perfect. Breakfast was good but not massive and much of the same American crap with fake eggs, waffles and toast and throw away cutlery. Airco was quite noisy. For a chain connected to Hilton I had higher expectations to be honest. If you can look past this than it is a good hotel. Room has a nice vibe and feels like a place you want to be. We have been to hotels were you cant wait to get out.

It was fine, There were no biscuits or scrambled eggs, but plenty of other things to eat. I was in a rush because I had to get my husband to the hospital, so I just had a bagel. I was impressed that when we entered the hotel, someone was vacuuming the hall carpet. Maintenance is not deferred. There was a large group of loud teens being checked in at the same time (athletics), and the staff handled them well.

The bed was too firm for us. I know people like different firmness, but this bed was pretty hard. However, the bedding was very comfy, as were the pillows.

It was a decently close drive to downtown, had mall and other restaurants very close, overall good price for north Austin location. Clean room and comfortable bed for the one night spent there.

There was a live band at a restaurant that played music nearby until 1130pm on a Saturday night. Breakfast was just ok, though there were plenty of options from cereals, to yogurts, to warm breakfast, and waffles. The scrambled/pancaked eggs were overcooked and potatoes undercooked.

I liked everything! I had an unusual situation come up during my stay. Due to a medical condition, I am on a 24 hr infusion type pump which runs on batteries. At 12am, my pump went off and I needed new batteries immediately. I called the front desk and they came to my rescue with an entire pack of triple A batteries! i didn’t have to wake my son and take a trip to the nearest store at this hour. They were fantastic. The breakfast was great…an important feature for my son and I. There is a solid array of options available.

The breakfast is good, as expected. The room was clean, spacious, the AC is a bit loud, but wasn't an issue for me.

I needed to delay my arrival to one day after, and had some issues to reach out the property, but the front desk attendant was so kind and helpful (unfortunately I don't remember his name) when I arrived, he find out my reservation and made the check in smooth.

I was very satisfied with the location in conjunction to where I was celebrating my anniversary with my husband. Also liked that I was greeted kindly by the front counter staff. Everything was clean and neatly organized. My room was very clean and disinfected where I could not find anything to say negatively. The bed was comfortable and I appreciate the effort the staff put towards my room.

I didn't like that the A/C took too long to cool the room. After being in the hot sun in Texas, I wanted to come back to a cooled room. It took hours before it was cooled and I had it down to 62 degrees. Another thing I didn't like was the pillows were not comfortable. Although my husband and I were able to sleep, I think having pillows that doesn't go flat would help us sleep faster.

Outstanding consistent personnel starting with Marcos who took care of us at the front desk. He followed through courteously with the next shift because I had arrived early to coordinate a room away from the freeway side as a personal preference. We returned at the appropriate check in time to find everything in great order. The reception at that time with the clerk and manager also were very helpful and positive in every way. Throughout the two day visit was always met with top notch staff at the front desk. I appreciate the kind staff having a wine bottle opener available for quick use and immediate return to ensure other guests have access to it. The cleanliness of the room was The Very Best and number one on the requirements I hope to find in a hotel stay. This Hampton deserves accolades in all ways including breakfast!! Delicious scrambled eggs and properly cooked oatmeal are a rare treat for hotel buffets to do just right with abundantly fresh choices, especially in this day and time. "Way to Go" owner (s), managers, housekeepers and morning breakfast cook attendant as well as maintenance personnel!! I am a particular person so give yourselves a pat on the back, rewards, and absolutely enjoy the feeling in knowing you are Amazing in the work and art of accomplishing a true sense of hospitality, cleanliness, generosity, and care for the well being of others. The hotel was a really good price. Coffee was available all the time and there was a good free breakfast with eggs and sausage or bacon. There was plenty of parking and the room and facilities were nice. It was also very accessible to freeways, but not so close that it was noisy. The hotel is a great place to stay in the Austin area for a good price.

While not bad for a lot of hotels and a lot of cities, the Covid "precautions" are still ridiculous. No one follows them anyway. The gym should be at full capacity. And I don't think the staff should be forced to wear masks for our "safety."

The Staff was very polite and helpful, Breakfast was great and the room clean and quite large with a nice clean bathroom (and no old shower curtain!) The location was very convenient for us and it was easy to park.

The pillows were somehow very small and the bed was a bit squeaky, but all in all it was a comfortable stay.
