The property was clean the breakfast was decent.

I left two new items in my room and checked out. I called that same afternoon and the front desk lady said I had missed the housekeepers. I am positive that I left it in the closet and I just feel that if the house keepers found it they should of been honest to return it to the front desk specially since I called back that same day. I kept calling the front desk just to get a run around and never once did I get a call back or a follow up I called many time thru out the week and they kept giving me the run around and I still haven’t heard back from the front desk.

The continental breakfast was nice. The staff was always available, helpful, and friendly. The location doesn't exactly have seaside vistas out of every window, but the area is right off a major highway (making it easily accessible). But the driveway to the parking lot is long enough so that it is set back from the highway by quite a distance, making it seem like it is much more tucked away than it actually is. In reality it is very close and convenient to anything in Central Austin or North Central. Oh, and the most impressive thing was not the location. It was what you saw after swiping your key card to your room, and turning the knob. The room was BIG! It was very nicely designed; had a sofa and half wall separating the bed area and sofa into very distinct feeling "half-rooms" it also had a "kitchen" area with faucet, coffee maker, and counter top space for preparing meals if you wanted to. There was a decent size closet, with an iron and an ironing board, a roomy bathroom with bathtub, and wall mounted flat screen TV too. Being someone who is more accustomed to Motel 6 and Super 8, this room felt AMAZING, and for a price that was higher, but not extraordinarily higher than those other paces. Very good value!

The elevator had some...personality. Not dangerous at all. But for an only moderately busy 5 story hotel, it was slow. You would often wait 7 to 10 minutes for it to arrive. For going down, we just got into the habit of going straight for the stairs. Even from the 5th floor, they were much faster. And when the elevator did arrive, and everyone piled in, the door often took 2 or 3 attempts before closing successfully.

Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I had two children with me who wanted to swim. Record high temperatures over 100 degrees. I specifically chose this hotel for the pool. Yet we were not allowed to swim in it for two whole days! Never got in! Staff kept claiming it had been treated with chemicals. I don't believe it. My children were so disappointed. I wanted to cancel and move to another hotel. This review would be perfect if not for the pool.

The bed provided a very comfortable sleep, and the first night we arrived, the initial room reaked with smoke. The lady at the desk immediately found us a new room, which thoroughly saved our experience there.

The hotel has been at the point of serving bagged breakfasts at a cost for a long while. Although I was told this is posted on the company's website (about bagged breakfasts), I don't think the third-party website I used mentioned that. If so, the great price for the room must have caused me to overlook this detail.

they didn’t advertise about the food or drinks you could order. I didn’t know they offered that until last day when checking out. Also the hotel sits behind 3 very busy bar grill type places and the parking was full due to a MMA fight the restaurants were showing and people were parking in the hotel spot which left no parking for the ones who paid for the hotel. I’m sure it was unusual due to the fight being showed but not sure where we would have parked if we didn’t get back to the hotel early enough

It was very nice and upkept! The staff was very friendly! The pool was clear and clean & just the right temperature even with the sun beaming down on it! The room was roomy for me my husband and 3 kids. Had a nice little living area as well. Would stay here again.

The elevators. The elevator had a funky smell to it and the doors, when closing, would re open a couple times before closing and taking off. But that was just a hiccup definitely didn’t ruin the stay.

The elevator was freaky - opened randomly - shakes a lot when moving - there is a sign explaining why the elevator hasn’t been updated yet, but it’s still uncomfortable Ice machine on floor was broken, had to go to others to get ice - kinda inconvenient

We were traveling for my daughter's medical appointment and the staff was amazing! They gave us a 1st floor room to make life easier for us and even a late check out when we had to extend our stay for a few days for additional dr appointments. We went to Austin to find help and found it not just with the dr's but also with the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was extremely kind and friendly. We will be back!

The room layout is great and super cute and comfortable. I didn't make it for breakfast. I checked at 9:30 and it was already over, but I heard you had to pay. I love the location and feel of the room and hotel! Elevator was broken, but stairs weren't too bad!

Breakfast is over by 9:30 and no coffee even. Elevator is broken, but not terrible. I couldn't get into the pool area, and no hot tub like I thought I saw in a picture.

Pros: -this is one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in this price range -clean & quiet room, hotel & pool -interior hallways & view of parking from all rooms -fridge -elevator -complimentary unlimited shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispensers

Cons: -there was breakfast but it was not free -no microwave in rooms -close to some attractions but a bit of a drive depending on where you want to go -some rooms were connected by a (locked) door, yet sometimes you can hear the neighbors through the wall
