The hotel looked really nice and we loved the full size queen beds. Everything was clean and smelled good. The secure access points were convenient for our family to get in and out with ease with luggage. The water pressure was great and the water was readily warm/hot when we needed it to be. There were enough pillows for us to get really comfortable and the bedding was warm but not too warm. The breakfast was good and the location of this La Quinta was perfect for us. It felt very safe and secure, outside to inside. Fully fenced in the back and the front is surrounded by businesses and fencing that would not make it easy for anyone wandering crime to go unnoticed. The pool and hot tub looked amazing but we didn’t get to enjoy it this go round. If you are traveling through this location on the way to somewhere else and need good, healthy food options it is also pretty close to some good options in De Soto itself.

The luggage carts were dangerous. They could easily topple over (they did several times on us) or the upper pole could easily come off (this also happened once) which was not safe when traveling with kids or pets in crates. It would have been nice had the breakfast gone until 10am like other La Quinta locations. The outside dog areas usually near the La Quintas weren’t present, though they did have doggie do-do bags… there was a field area in front of the hotel that we used that might have been owned by the hotel but I wasn’t too sure. The address provided in our booking.com confirmation email sent us up the highway in the wrong direction from the hotel and at 1am backtracking is not fun. Make sure to put in the name of the hotel from the start if you don’t want to deal with that.

I liked that the breakfast was good and tasty. Our room and bathroom were clean. We saw there were no bugs. It was an easy check-in and check-out process.

This place lets you have pets. I did not see that when I booked. For those with pets, it is fine for you. If you have allergies to pet hair or don't want to be bothered by barking dogs, this is not the place for you. Also, there is only one elevator. You may have to wait a little bit during peak hours.

i liked the location of how easy is was to get off and on the highway. spacious parking lot. the lobby smelled very clean and was very well decorated. carpets did not look old like other places I’ve been in. our room met the highest of our expectations. it was very clean and spacious. comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. the shower was clean. towels smelled fresh and new. appreciative of the dove brand travel size toiletries.

breakfast was delicious but coffee was not ready the lady forgot to turn on the juice machine and the syrup pump for the waffles was clogged so it did not work. needs some improvement

Had variety of food for breakfast every morning the staff were fri dly and the room was clean

The heater did not seem to work in our room

The staff were all so welcoming and kind...made you feel at home

Elevator was out of order for a little while and had to use the stairs a few times...for a 50 year old lady with Rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis stayingon the 3rd floor...its not the best situation...but it was only temporary so it was somewhat bearable...everything else was awesome...thank you so much

I wanted to use the pool but everyday there when unsupervised children being loud and horse playing my room was 218 right above the pool which you could still hear them upstairs.

Everything was nice

I ordered Door Dash and they didn't allow the dasher to bring me my stuff. I had to go downstairs and get it. I had injuries that didn't allow me to carry stuff so one of the guess assisted me. I feel this should be stated upfront.

The entrance to the lobby is very welcoming. I was attended by 3 different staff at the desk thru out my day and they were all very welcoming, polite, and approachable. The housekeeping ladies are so sweet and breakfast was delicious. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes/hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, sausages/links, waffles, cereal, fruit and sweet bread. Not all of this was provided at once. Each day was a different combination. Pool and hot tub were available. However the pool was warmer than the hot tube, but I enjoyed both!

The elevator was out for 1 day.
