Bars were nice, most of the staff were great, location of the room was great. Location of hotel is exactly what I wanted with walking distance to the Strand and easy to get to the beach.

Valet staff were really not friendly or helpful from our first check in to getting on the app to getting the cars. They said to download an app and that they weren't associated with the hotel-humm, not helpful really but we did add another app to our phones. I'd suggest the hotel really look again at this company and these people as they never were happy, never were nice. The valet runners/driver's themselves were all great-helped with moving around golf clubs, luggage etc.

The hotel is simply beautiful and elegant. It was great to have a room overlooking the atrium. The room was super clean, stylish and comfortable. The hotel is old school glamour with a 21st century twist. The hotel is located right next to the Strand and close to many top eateries.

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. The only suggestion I have for improvement is more options for food in the hotel itself. There were snacks and small bites in the lobby/bar, but a bigger menu would be great.

Our stay at the Tremont House was fantastic from check-in to check-out! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to us throughout our annual girl's cruise trip. Several people went above and beyond to help us, including Brooklyn and Jennifer (who knows the best restaurants and bars in the area and even helped me print my boarding pass), Ernesto - the Bellhop, Candy - our room assistant, Cindy, Angelo, and Ayasha in the Cafe who was incredibly helpful during breakfast. The food at the Cafe was also delicious - a big shout out to the cook and the manager!

The greeting was excellent and the room was clean and tidy! All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful! We did not encounter any issues with this Bonvoy Tribute property. Breakfast was good but the menu was limited. Angelo was a great server and helped with local information!

The parking vendor was efficient but I did not like the texting for tips with a message suggesting the most common tip. My impression is to raise the daily valet rate and leave the tipping to be individualized per return or drop-off.

The hotel renovations were definitely well appreciated and noticed. Last time I was at Tremont, was 2019, and it was definitely show its age. I like that it’s a Marriott property. Elevators are surprisingly fast. I would highly recommend king suite, especially on 4th floor, if you have kids. The room layout is definitely perfect. The website and booking.com do a terrible job explaining how awesome the floor plan is.

Hotel is super noisy at night. There’s no way anyone sleeps there peacefully. The valet staff and check in staff, for luggage at least, are very lazy and lack any sort of customer awareness.

The decor of the hotel was fantastic. The room and bed were very comfortable. The simple food was tasty and of a reasonable price.

The entrance stairs were slippery in wet weather. The room rate was a little pricy as was the overnight parking rate. I was offended by an email from the parking valet requesting a tip. The methodology of paying for parking through an "app" was confusing. Even the valets didn't like it. It took a long time to get hot water flowing to the room.

The staff was fantastic, from the valet parking people to the reception check-in, the waiters in the restaurant to the bartender did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The folks parking our car deserve a special thanks for assisting us far beyond what was expected. The friendliness and professionalism by everyone was impressive. Best of all they all work together, addressing our every need from arrival to departure. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was large and comfortable. But I believe the staff of a hotel makes or breaks it. This hotel has it all. If you're going to Galveston, TX stay here. You won't be disappointed.

I travel with a wheel chair which had to be taken to the 1st floor by the luggage elevator every time we came in or out. It required someone to physically load and unload you. It focused my inability to walk while other guests had to wait for their luggage.

the decor of the entire hotel and rooms. the staff was amazing! on of the bell hops was off duty and still assisted getting our luggage up the entry stairs; I didn't get his name. Jennifer Jones, at the front desk was just simply amazing, so helpful and friendly!

The location of the coffe station was in the dining room and not visible from the lobby. It was hard to find, because the dining room was cordoned off when not open for breakfast. We had to ask the front desk where it was.

Galveston is super cute and has great bars and testaurants Hotel has history and its kinda beautiful but not modern Very (!) friendly valet (always open doors and smile) anf helpful

Two fire alarms and no communication or applogy from hotel staff. We just got a thumps up from a fire department guy at 5 am that we could go back to our rooms. Fridge still had some old food leftovers (yuck) Apparently got a free upgrade from queen to king room but room seemed rather small Cushions too thick. My neck hurt so bad after every night.
