It’s easy to get to since it’s right off the main drag thru Giddings. I stayed twice over two months. the rooms are very clean, beds are comfy, and the shower worked great.
It’s not exactly a scenic getaway since it’s right on the local highway, they’re not really big in landscaping which means lots of asphalt and no trees or grass to speak of, and the pool is teeny tiny with no privacy fence, so your basically going for a swim in the parking lot.

The staff who met me upon check in was helpful and kind - and placed us at a room toward the back so we would be away from the highway noise. (Yay! ‘Cause that noise wasn’t kidding!) The room was clean and cozy. No complaints! But breakfast??? Well…. Let’s just say you’ll probably prefer a zip down the road to the baby Buccees or Starbucks!

I liked that the flooring wasn’t carpet which often holds the strong smells of deodorizer that often give me a headache. Had fridge and microwave as well as coffee maker and a safe in the room. The room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed our stay.
No WiFi for the 3 days we were there. They apologized and seemed to try to fix it but in the end we were 3 days without it.

The room was perfect. The wifi was excellent. The front desk clerk was exceptional. I appreciated the extra hour for checkout. I was very tired and needed extra sleep and he was just very understanding and nice.

I booked a king size bed, but got a queen size, so bed could have been bigger for two people. The shower nozzle was not the best.
