friendly helpful staff the over 55 lady at the front desk was awesome! thanks for the wood on the fire in the lobby and fixing my room floor level with my post-op knees! everyone very friendlily hotel clean just worn a bit in the rooms and dated and the mattress was lumpy a bit uncomfortable but still plush maybe it’s a bit old the layout of the facility was great I would go back and try the branding iron restaurant this time. the live music in the bar was a hard no. the poor man can not sing. instrumentals were good.

Staff and Cleanliness the rooms actually had soap and shampoo you would actually use if need be.

We have stayed there in the past and has been the only place we stay when we need a hotel in Kerrville. We have always loved the pool. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. The front desk and maintenance staff have always been very friendly.

The A/C filter was dirty. We cleaned the filter since the room had a musty smell. The cleaning helped. Check out is at noon but we had housekeeping cleaning rooms around us at 10am and knocking on our door asking when we would be out.

The lobby makes a good first impression, I liked the rustic feel. A nice change from the typical chains I am used to. The rooms are large and well equipped with modern furnishings. The TV was a big screen and fairly new, with a good assortment of channels.

The property, common areas, hallways, and walls in the rooms show their age. The showerhead needs to be updated. The ac is not connected to a thermostat, so it runs constantly and makes it difficult to get the temp right.

The location is excellent. Very historical and very interesting story connected with the YO Ranch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a great lunch buffet and the bar is very pleasant, the ambience is very nice.

This is such a beautiful building and property. However, it is in need of some TLC. I hate to see such a lovely place with so many beautiful pieces of Texas History fall in disrepair. I understand it has been hard for all businesses during the pandemic. Daily housekeeping is not automatically provided, you need to request it, and I misunderstood, however, the front desk was very accommodating and brought the requested items.

Convenient location right near major highways and thoroughfares. Restaurant on-site has friendly staff, operates on a convenient schedule for meals, and has a generous buffet and varied selection of entrees. Pool area is open year round and has ample seating for relaxing with a book. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. Beds were clean and quite comfortable. Lots of parking around the building for easy access to rooms. Free Internet was reliable and speedy. Microwave and refrigerator in room. HVAC unit in room was powerful enough to quickly heat the room. Patio door from room provides quick access to outside on nice days.

Windows were a bit drafty cold nights. Shower faucet was a bit loose and took a while to heat up. Ceramic tile floors throughout rooms were cold on bare feet and somewhat uncomfortable if laying on the floor to stretch. No fitness room facility on-site for exercise.

As always, we enjoyed our stay at the YO. The facility is older, but still in great shape. The decor is the best. The lobby is like a western museum/zoo all rolled into one. The staff are all very friendly and ready to help if needed. We've stayed here several times & will stay here again

We had to stay on the 2nd floor as the hotel was completely booked. Not their fault. But I use a walker these days, so it took a long time to get up the stairs. But I managed just fine. There was a family with small children who were having a very very loud good time in the next room. From the giggling and banging sounds, I'd venture a guess that they were jumping on the bed. But that 's also not the fault of the resort. It's a shame parents allow their kids to be that unruly in a hotel. Disturbing other guests, and misusing the facility furniture. One of them could have gotten hurt.

We loved staying at the Y O Ranch Hotel it was my grandkids first time. We loved the pool and it was so close to our room that was wonderful. The lobby is out of this world I love the western feel. I stayed there 39 years ago with my parents, husband and daughter. I was expecting my son. We were very comfortable every time we have stayed there.

No free breakfast but a good breakfast plate could be had with coffee for around $10 in the restaurant. Great pool, nice bar.

The place is getting a little dated but still a good place to meet with family and friends around the pool. The kids love the pool and it's a great area to gather and swim or have a drink. The only thing I could says I didn't like would be the bed pillows. they were just too hard and thick for me to get comfortable.

the property was close to my event venue and there was plenty of parking.

the place is huge, when the key cards didn’t keep the charge you have to drive back to the front main lobby. I lucked out and got a first floor room but I would have been in trouble if I had gotten a 2nd floor room, because of the stairs. not used to my knees slowing me down so I forgot to request a downstairs room.

The location is great! The room size was great!

The toilet wasn't cleaned. It had some splashed fical matter around the inside of the toilet and toilet seat. The tile floor was kinda of cold. The heater in the bathroom wasn't working, so it kinda made it bad, along with the tiled floor due to the cold weather at the time that I visited.
