This was a really nice place to stay! Large modern room, everything was in like new condition, comfortable beds, sofa in sitting area, better than average lighting, plenty of towels (which were large and thick), it has a closet, and overall a very nice room. We appreciated the solid surface floor; often carpets are pretty dirty, so the un-carpeted floor is more likely to be clean. There was a rug in the sitting area that was very clean. The workout room was very clean and the equipment was high quality. Good breakfast selections, above average for sure.

Minor complaints: Always had to wait for someone to come to the front desk. Nobody was there when we arrived to check in and again twice in the morning. They were helpful enough once they came, but I always had to wait until somebody showed up. There was no freezer in the small fridge. There is no vent fan in the bathroom.

Room was wonderful, very spacious, enjoyed the disability bathroom. Breakfast provided was awesome. Lots of choices, plenty of bacon!! The area with the charging station, chairs and tables for meeting visitors or just sitting by the bar and dining area was really spacious and comfortable! We met friends there. Was awesome! Location was close to everything! Snuffers Hamburgers was over the top! Right down the street from the hotel, Burgers were fantastic!! The city of Rockwall is a very quaint place with all the stores and recreation you would need. Definitely visit there if you are traveling to Dallas, and your business/personal travel needs will allow you to be close enough to stay in Rockwall!

Only downside was you could not see the lake. It was a very, very short drive to see it. But a lake view would have been perfect!

Front desk staffs are great especially Kevin. He gets A++ in my book. The whole hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast is another shining point to mention, with a group of skillful kitchen staffs serving delicious and tasty breakfast, the day becomes much brighter and enjoyable. Overall, A++ and will visit it again.

Really loved that breakfast came individually wrapped/served as a grab and go. I appreciated the new way to serve the "buffet breakfast" and appreciated even more that it included hot items. Super cute set up! Lobby was nice, staff was great, this place was exactly what I needed for a business trip.

Not really any negatives - the AC went out from a bad storm and affected some rooms but the hotel moved people around quickly. I wouldn't count that against them.

Breakfast made getting up worth it! Clean and comfortable rooms plus the friendliest hotel staff that I have ever meet. Thanks for asking and please reward these folks for putting Hyatt's best foot forward. In every area.

The French toast was chewy and overcooked.

Room was clean, liked that it did not have carpet. Walls a bit thin. Electricity went out just as we stepped off elevator the last morning, had to carry all our luggage down 3 flights stairs.

Little more concern when power went off. Breakfast was not very good !

Ada room was required. Sorry it is so far from the elevators. the room was nicely laid out. nice quiet neighborhood.

Blinds fell down. ( it was promptly repaired) lights were out on bathroom mirror. USB plug by sink was broken. the toilet seat did not fit the Ada commode properly. sorry to see this at a Hyatt

Great clean hotel. Modern and friendly. Great location. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lovely sized room with air con and sofa area.

Be super careful with the bar tab. Our friend was charged 10 dollars tip on one bill and 15 dollars on another and the barmaid when questioned said our friend was drunk and had agreed to it. It was 5.30pm and he had one drink. Keep an eye on it.

took 3 days to get the room type I booked and requested. in the end Cordell made it happen for me. Yay!

The room was really spacious. It was close to a lot of restaurants and stores. And also it was just nice all the way around. Definitely would recommend people to stay here.
