Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic (even with a gluten allergy!). They had a real portable mini-crib with mattress and not just a pack n play. No issue with bringing our service dog and plenty of areas to take him out for potty breaks. I’m not one to give more than 4/5 ever on ratings, these guys really were fantastic.

Minor upkeep. It was obvious all the signs used to be from a Staybridge Suites hotel. Our ice maker wasn’t working (but it was fixed within a few hours!). Light bulbs need replacing. Bathroom fixtures are clogged with hard water residue (normal for the area but still unsightly for a hotel). Nothing that would stop me from willingly staying again!

Loved the kitchen in the rooms. Comes with a full kitchen and cookware which really helps on an extended trip

The lady tending the breakfast was rude and in too big of a hurry to put things away while many people were lined up to eat. Breakfast should never end before 10 am on the weekend!! That is a standard in the hotel industry. And the pool closed too early as well. Adults would like to be able to enjoy the pool in peace in the evenings, since children dominated during the day. But when the pool closes so early many adults don't have time because they work all day or they're just getting in an hour before the pool closes.

The complimentary access to a washer and dryer is great. No need to take dirty clothes home with you. The exercise room is pretty nice as well. Each of the treadmills and bike had a t.v. with cable access to watch as you exercised. Even had a little free weight area. HEB is literally around the corner and Walmart is one exit away, if you forgot anything at home.

There wasn't any fitted sheets available to us for the pull out sofa. It wasn't that big of a deal because we just used the flat sheet to cover it. The washers could use a cleaning more often.

We always stay on this side of town because the hotels around the parks (Seaworld, Fiesta TX) tend to be a little messy. We like this property because of the kitchenette and thoughtful items they include such as a full size coffee pot w/complimentary coffee packets, full size fridge with ice maker, two burner stove with cookware (though it is minimal), dish soap w/sponge... I could go on and on. My wife thought the bed was comfortable and my daughter liked the pull-out sofa. The breakfast was better than the typical waffle maker breakfast you find at the other places. We've stayed at a comparably priced hotel across the freeway and it wasn't as good as this one.

Access to the parking lot. I'm guessing they restrict it for security purposes but if you're not familiar with the property, be prepared to do some u-turns.

breakfast was delicious! plenty of healthy options! the fitness center was pretty great! lots of cardio and free weight choices! our room was a perfect fit and made it easy for us to make dinner together and sit and relax to watch a movie while eating! the pool was relaxing though they were out of towels out there but the front desk staff was friendly and helped get us pool towels!

the staff was friendly at the front but the ladies who worked the breakfast buffet were rude and less than helpful when we had questions. acted as though we were stupid and should know where things were or how they were done as if we were the ones who worked there.

The people working here were awesome. Our cleaning lady, Maria, and was so very nice and helpful. Every single employee was friendly.

The mile walk to our room from the elevator. My husband just had knee surgery and we never thought about getting a room so far away from the only exit he could use. It was very frustrating for him. I’ll ask next time before I make a reservation.

We absolutely loved the kitchenette. Though we didn't cook anything, there were pots, pans and utensils in case we wanted to. The 12 cup coffee pot was awesome. I made a quick run to HEB (right around the corner) and got some filters and coffee. Me and the wife were having coffee in our pj's first thing in the morning! The hotel supplied the dish sponge and dish soap as well. The full size fridge/freezer meant I could grab some ice cream and cold drinks for the wife and daughter. I really loved the complimentary washer and dryers! Soap was only about $1.50 at the front desk and not taking dirty laundry back home is invaluable. The fold out sleeper sofa was great for my 5 yr old. It didn't have sheets, but a quick phone call to the frost desk solved that.

The fixtures in the shower were a little loose and I was afraid I would break them.

the property was nice. it’s an old building and you can feel it. It is very clean though

items in our bathroom were pretty old the chrome was peeling off of things. the Door to the bathroom was swollen from water damage. the elevator was a bit scary as it makes loud thumping sounds before it moves and when it stops

The fully equipped kitchen, it meant we didn't have to go out to eat as much.

The pool closed early every day so we never got to go even once. Summer hours should be later for adults to enjoy the pool in the evening. Many people don't get back to the hotel until 8-9 pm.

clean, super comfortable beds, nice and friendly day staff.

The night staff on the day we arrived, was very rude and not helpful. we had called in advance to let them know our flight was delayed and we would be late getting there for our reservation, which was already paid for. The night staff said we might not have a room, we got there too late, and they had already started next day’s business. Not his fault airline was delayed. We were there for a funeral. this just added to our already sad and stressful situation. He eventually got us a room after a long discussion.
