The location was perfect for great restaurants, the Shakespeare festival. It was quiet. The rooms have been refurbished & are beautiful with lovely linens for excellent comfortable beds. The bathrooms are very nice! They serve a good choice of hot & cold foods for breakfast with every room. The pool & hot tub are indoor in a separate building & have a shower in the restroom to rinse off etc. Everything was so clean!! We will stay here again when visiting Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival. We also felt the staff was very helpful & courteous. We needed a few more hangers & they ran them right up. They have staff available 24/7.

Absolutely nothing to complain about except toilet paper was a bit rough.

The location was close to the freeway, as we were just passing and stopped to break up the long drive. This is a diamond 💎 in the rough. From the outside it looks like any other hotel. On the inside it was spotless! There wasn’t a grain or sand or spec of dirt anywhere. The pool was amazingly clean and above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast house was outstanding! Perfectly crisp bacon, they had staff preparing fresh food as people came in. They even had Nutella for the kids. The young lady that checked us in was like someone you would see on a hallmark 🎥 movie. She really went over and above for every patron that walked in.

Nothing could have been better, this place is amazing. If we drive to California again it is on our list.

The staff throughout were the stars of the show for this hotel - they were all very friendly, thoughtful, efficient and helpful. The breakfast had a much better selection than normal hotel chains. There were hot options such as sausages, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal and biscuits with gravy. There were also healthy options such as fruit, whole wheat bread, whole and low fat milk as well as oat and almond milk. They had a selection of other breads, muffins and coffees, teas, yoghurt and juices.

The rooms were the old fashioned motel design, two floors with rooms lined up along a long balcony (or parking lot facing if you were downstairs.) The only windows were in the front, so you couldn't leave the curtains open as people walking past the room could look in, so the room was dark. It was not spotless - there were some marks on the towels and bed linen. The mattress and pillows were quite lumpy. However the staff, the breakfast and the location made up for these small imperfections.

The Abbey Inn was a great choice. It is centrally located , close to campus and the rooms were immaculate with very updated decor. We slept great in the comfortable beds and staff were friendly and accommodated our late ck out request. The entrance to the rooms are outside but an elevator provided for 2nd floor rooms. We were’t able to have breakfast there but looked inviting and cute building. Sorry we missed it.

Additional parking in front of rooms would have been nice and looked kind of like a motel on outside, not fancy on outside. Don’t let that fool you, rooms are really nice.

The rooms are very lovely and clean. I like the amount of space we had. There were plenty of pillows and blankets for the three of us. Although we had to get up super early to get to the breakfast before the crowds came in, we just went back to bed after.

I don't have much to complain about. I think the only thing I can talk about is the small space for breakfast. If you don't go early enough like when it opens it fills up extremely fast. We have had to skip breakfast before because people were standing outside the building as there was no place to sit.

This Place was recently renovated and the staff has kept it up very well. The breakfast area was in a separate building and had a full kitchen that was visible to the guest. This is an upgrade from most motels/inns/hotels that offer breakfast. The food is usually all warmed up in a microwave. Here I watched the eggs being made on a stove top. The staff was kind and helpful every step of the way from the front desk to house keeping and the breakfast crew.

If I had to be super picky, I would say the decor in the breakfast house was not to the standard of the guest rooms. In the same breath this did not change my experience. Cleaniness is more important and the kitchen was spotless.

I liked that the room was sparkling clean, had very comfortable beds & bedding, good lighting, comfortable chairs and a workspace. I also liked that there were plenty of electrical outlets & USB outlets. The location was very close to all my activities as well as restaurants and service stations. I will definitely stay there again if the occasion arises.

The only thing wrong with the room was that the clock was set 1/2 hour behind the correct time. I reported that when I checked out.

The staff was professional, happy & helpful with questions. Rooms where exceptional & was not expecting them to look like the photos online. modern yet elegant to the area. a well deserved praise to the front desk staff & housekeeping. Location is perfect as well especially having an Ihop in the parking lot.

The outside of the building truly don't match the interior of the rooms lobby. That's not really a nock to the property, but rather the area just being Cedar City. Also to note, this was in the colder months & it was a bit gloomy as well.

The room was clean and everything seemed to be in good condition. It's a great value for the price. The breakfast was very good with a big selection. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool.

I guess I went to breakfast at the busiest time. I didn't mind waiting a bit for food, but sitting outside at tables was freezing cold and quite unpleasant. There are only about 8 small tables inside for guests. I would have taken my food back to my room, but there is only a tiny table in the room and hard for 4 of us to eat there. Also, it was kind of a nightmare to navigate in that tiny house with all our winter coats on. I can see that this breakfast would be much better on a summer day.

Loved the cleanliness, the breakfast, the hot tub. I loved how close it is to my daughter's apartment and my other daughter's school SUU. Perfect place to stay.

There was only one thing I would complain about and it's not really worth mentioning but the door to our room wouldn't latch closed unless you really pulled or pushed on it. It got left open one night because I didn't check it after my daughter left to go home, my bad.
