December 2024
I stayed at the Scenic View Inn for 5 nights in Nov/2024 to visit Arches and Dead Horse Point. I have previously stayed at the Archway Inn and Best Western but was looking for something cheaper. This hotel is a few miles south of town, but the few extra minutes in the car were worth it to save some money. Hotel is new, clean and comfortable. Stayed in Room #323. Beds were nice and soft, and I slept great. Heat and A/C worked like they should. The breakfast was fine (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy). Nothing special, but it was hearty. This hotel is a good value. I would stay here again.
Two minor quibbles: Housekeeping only came by every 2nd day. The "Guide" feature on the TV didn't work (probably a cable provider issue rather than the hotel's fault).

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices, well prepared. Location was a bit far out but not an issue, easy to get out and about. Liked clean, well maintained, modern. Did not have extra frills and foo foo decorations and materials, appreciated decent quality, attractive finishes, but not the extra "luxury" stuff other places charge for but that makes no difference in your stay, and will charge for the "feature comforts". I just want a decent clean room, basic amenities, and some breakfast before i move on. Scenic view fit the bill perfectly. Many thanks

If you are in Moab, do not look further to stay. This hotel provides excellent value and the staff is absolutely amazing. Nitin and Paresh are not only great managers, they give you a patient ear. Breakfast is outstanding. There is seating outside which adds to the delight. Rooms are amazing size and spotless. My assessment compares to my travel across the continental US as well as Europe.
There is nothing NOT to like. Moab is all about Arches park hikes. Therefore SPA facilities could be improved upon for the weary hikers. If the outside seating area can be expanded, there is nothing like having breakfast in crisp air. This is a gorgeous facility.

I'm actually surprised how a place can be so affordable in this day and age. We had one night without a place to stay, and last minute booked this room late at night. Checked in about 15 minutes after booking and check in was so smooth, a nice young girl at the counter was professional and kind. Easy peasy. Our room was clean and exactly what we needed. Breakfast was hot and better than many budget places, and they even had food out after the official breakfast end time, which was nice to grab a coffee to go on our way out.
I'm sure you could find something to complain about if you are looking for it, this is not a 5 star resort but closer to a motel. I've read about noise, but yeah of course because the doors are open air, like a motel set up, but we were next to the maintenance room and were not disturbed. I didn't encounter any of the negative things mentioned in the previous reviews. I compared it to about 5-10 similarly priced properties in the area and I am happy we chose this one.

Staff at the hotel were great. Special mention to Nithin on front desk who helped me out a lot with phone calls to another hotel where I had left property. He went out of his way to help me with nothing else expected in return. He felt like a true asset to a hotel like this. The hotel was new, modern, well appointed and it was really lovely to stay there. The rooms were the same - felt really clean and a little more luxurious than your average chain hotel room. Breakfast options were, on the whole, good as well
It would be great to start seeing some healthy options at breakfast at hotel chains like these. Coffee, waffles, cereal, eggs and bacon are not varied options. Some fresh fruit, natural yoghurt would be great to see.

The room was clean and well put together with modern facilities. The staff at the front desk was courteous. The bed was fairly comfortable. Not astoundingly luxurious, but a good value and the proximity to the two national parks was great. The continental breakfast included with the room price was delicious and had numerous options.
Occasionally you could hear muffled voices next door and there's some construction happening behind the hotel, but it wasn't disruptive/noisy during the night. Overall very pleased with the value of this stay.

very good breakfast, friendly staff, nice spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice view of snow-covered mountains! It was 3 miles away from downtown Moab, so it was nice and quiet, but yet we only had a 5 min drive to get to restaurants and shopping! (Parking in town was easy off the main street.) Would like to stay here again!
Our only suggestion at this time is a question regarding the gravel parking lot. Is there a plan to pave it and to install some kind of safety guard rail or posts? There is approx a 3 foot drop off, so you have to be careful if you park there, especially after dark! Also, it can be a bit hard to spot the hotel at night from main Hwy 191. A sign closer to the highway would be nice! Thanks!

The room vas very clean and the beds were comfortable.
The AC sounded like an airplane. The air fresheners were overwhelming. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing and very little space on the sink to place necessities. The lighting is typical—no thought given to women wanting to do makeup. The phone was out of order so I had to look up the number and call the front desk on my cell to find out the WiFi password, which was nowhere to be found. Also, if you close the sliding bathroom door, it’s hard to get out because there’s no handle on the inside.

Good, quiet, modern feeling hotel. Rooms were spacious and 'up to date' with everything you needed. Breakfast included was decent. Busy but didn't feel crowded with a huge car park. Good stop-off hotel if exploring Utah and it's national parks.
Location is not ideal for exploring the towns amenities. Would highly recommend driving and parking in Moab (a bit chaotic at busy times) as public transport seemed non existent which isn't entirely surprising considering where you are. Certainly not walkable to restaurants bars and shops in Moab.

New, clean facilities and an amazing price. The hotel still looks brand new and it's the best value in Moab! Very comfortable beds and a huge television were nice as well! We stayed here for three nights for the same price as we paid for one night elsewhere. We were extremely pleased with our stay!
Location is a bit outside of town, but that's a very minor issue. Breakfast was the same every day, but was still good! Overall, a wonderful stay in my favorite town of Moab!
