April 2024

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and I appreciated how dark out the curtains were. The breakfast was great! We really appreciated they had a coffee/hot beverage machine available at all times of the day. The location was very convenient, being right on the main strip in Moab, which made it really convenient when going to the National Parks or wanting to walk to shops and restaurants. They also had a nice rooftop balcony with some patio chairs. There was ample parking. The hotel is on a busy corner, with loud vehicles driving down the road, but the room was quite soundproof which was nice!

The wifi was down the first day we were there, but that isn’t the staff’s fault. They had lots of information pamphlets, but it would have been nice if the staff were a bit nicer, asking us what we had planned, give tips about the town…

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is right on the main street of Moab and walking distance to all shops, restaurants, etc. Arches NP is a 10 - 15-minute drive, and Canyonlands is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The staff were all so lovely and the room was clean and comfy.

The hotel was a bit loud - we were located on the main floor so could hear people outside our door. The floor above was also very creaky, which kept us up a little through the night. Minor complaints, though! Would still highly recommend.

The beds were very comfortable, the location is convenient, and the A/C was very strong. We only stayed for a night before departing for our bike trip and it provided everything we needed. We loved that the hotel was willing to let us leave our cars parked in their lot for a week while we biked!

The shampoo and conditioner bottles were nearly empty, but our room was right next to the storage closet of cleaning supplies and the door was open, so we were able to restock ourselves. The breakfast was just okay.

We extended our stay for a few more days. We really liked it. This is a really nice traditional Hotel in the center of Moab. Shops and restaurants right across and up the street. City Market grocery store an easy 2 block (5-6 min) walk away. Really convenient. It's one of the older hotels in town, but they keep it nice and well maintained. Most hotels these days go super cheap on things, but these guys get 'right' what a lot of hotels don't. Here's my list of what they have that is great that a lot of hotels suck at: Old world spanish-style exterior with some charm ...and modern amenities, Great location, Plenty of parking, External hallways (outside) which are usually quieter and don't smell funny like some hotel hallways, Wood floor (not carpeted), Short walk from car to room! Not pet friendly (That's a plus! I *don't* want other people's dirty dogs sleeping on my bed!). Microwave & Refrigerator in room, 2x suitcase stands in king room, Steel tub -- not the usual cheap plastic tub that gets weak and flexible on the bottom! Low step-over height tub/shower! Quality bathroom fixtures, *Real* bar of soap!!! Thick comfy bed, Really good and quiet Trane HVAC unit ...not the el-cheapo kind that makes you deaf by morning! LOL. Dark window coverings that really do block the light, Plenty of lights & plug-ins, Rustic wood trim and matching furniture which was in good condition, Hot breakfast where you can sit inside or outside by the street, Good pool & hot tub, Patio chairs on a veranda. Friendly staff. Hotel manager Kim was friendly and great to talk to. Most of the new hotels around Moab are simply cookie-cutter chain hotels with odd-smelling hallways that loud kids and dogs run up and down. This place has some charm IMO. We plan to stay here next time we're in Moab!

Not much we didn't like. Gasket on door bottom needed to be replaced in our room. Fresh cut fruit mix in a big bowl would be a great breakfast addition. Also better whole grain breads once in a while. Waffle-maker would be nice (they DO have a pancake maker). Still, the breakfast is definitely two if not three notches above what most hotels offer anymore. FYI, this Best Western is NOT the same the *other* more cookie-cutter Best Western Hotel across the street.

Great location. Staff was friendly. Pool was great and facilities were clean.

The breakfast was the exact same everyday. Usually places will change it up a bit with sausage one day and bacon the next or different potatoes etc. it was the same thing everyday and it was just okay. It was fine for hotel breakfast, I don’t expect a lot. But usually the hotels I’ve stayed at change it up a bit from day to day. other than that everything was great.

Breakfast was a definite plus. Staff worked hard to keep up with the buffet and the area cleaned up. Staff was polite and professional. The hotel is located in excellent location and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

A little more maintenance needed in our room. The rubber flap at the bottom of our front entry door needed to be replaced. There was a gap to the outside where bugs or insects could come in. That was somewhat concerning.

The location is prefects, the breakfast is the best around, and the staff is helpful and friendly.

The business center was not functional and that turned out to be a big problem for us. The property is aging and there were a few issues with hot water and leaks. The staff was helpful, but the property needs some updating.

Room was clean and the location was in the middle of the stores and restaurants . Breakfast was good and I liked to eat on the porch and watch everyone go by. The employees were very friendly

Eggs were a little cold and stiff, but I am guessing it is difficult on a buffet. I still ate them all three days I was there

The location is amazing, such a short walk to everything. The pool is nice with tables & loungers. We had a motel style room on the ground floor which was very convenient. It's nice but not as nice as the other Best Western across the street.

You have to cross the parking lot to get to the pool. (The other BW has it off the lobby). Good breakfast selection but not delicious. The pancake machine made really soggy ones that my son wouldn't touch and the eggs were solid. No waffle machine. The other BW has a much nicer breakfast area - bigger room + a lovely balcony. You can eat outside here but it's right on the main road so you cant hear yourself think.
