Great location! Only minutes from Arches! Very clean, quaint & comfortable rooms. This was my favorite accommodation during my travels to visit all 5 National parks. The hot tub was fabulous after a long day of hiking. There’s a grocery store & restaurants within walking distance. They have a coffee & tea bar in the lobby with the best assortment of quality teas that I have seen. Also, I can’t thank the staff enough! I checked out and left a large sum of cash in the room safe and didn’t remember until the next day. I called and they went and retrieved it and held onto it for me until I came back for it. They were so sweet & helpful! They’re also wonderful in recommending fun day trips and scenic routes to take on your travels.

Moab is a difficult place to find reasonably priced accommodation, even in the shoulder season when we stayed there. This motel was at the more reasonable end but still one of the more expensive places we stayed on our 3-week trip overall even though the room was smaller than most motel rooms we stayed in. Having said that, this is no doubt relative to other places in Moab and it was absolutely fine as a base for the area and for visiting Arches and Canyonlands. There were restaurants close by - we enjoyed the Moab Grill across the road.

This is the traditional and somewhat famous go-to Motel/Hotel in Moab before all the cookie-cutter chain hotels spouted up like flat-warts, lol. We've been staying here since the early 90's. It's very well maintained. We stayed here for two nights on this last Moab visit & loved it. If you read the older Off-Road or Biking & Hiking magazines, they usually made the "Redstone Inn" their Moab hub. The reason was and still is, because it's super conveniently located and offers a rustic old-world, cabin-like experience that blends perfectly with the red-rock nature vibe in and around Moab. None of the other local hotels I've stayed at around town offer this experience, IMO. I would say they do the basics well. Specific good points: Location -- Next door (2-min walk) to the City Market, Moab's main grocery store ...to stock up on trail needs. Close to restaurants/fuel stations, A quick hop from Main St, but insulated from busy tourist noise. Kitchenette in some rooms, to cook healthy meals if you've gotten tired of restaurant food. Our room had a refrigerator & microwave which we used to make good healthy oatmeal & berries, in the mornings and reheat meals in the evening. Hot Tub in a separate bld to work the kinks from a long days' outdoor activity. Water hose and bike stand if you need to make cycle repairs/tweaks, and wash off trail debris. Picnic tables to visit with hikers/biker/off-roaders. Very quick access from car to room! Ice machine & laundry right there. Super-FAST data speed if you have Verizon Wireless - 5 bars of 5G-UWB on my phone, sitting in our room. I consistently clocked several Speedtest's of 750+mb/s, the highest was 785 mb/s down and 175 mb/s up!! The fastest I measured in Moab. The tower is literally next to the motel if you are on a work-cation or need to send out larger files. I didn't use WI-FI on this stay.

Liquid pump soap in the shower ....I prefer a bar of soap, but my wife liked it & the conditioner. They used to provide real plates/utensils...they cut back due to Covid. Smaller & more basic than some Moab Inn/hotels, but the rustic charm and location makes up for it. No breakfast, but you can buy food & make a better breakfast (than most hotels provide) in your own room. Great value!

I slept very well in the room - it was quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I liked that I was given a room near the end of the corridor, so my pup didn't have to encounter anybody inside. There was a convenient patch of grass for my dog to relieve himself right outside the exit. The dog park is a short walk from the Inn. The little kitchenette was as expected with fridge and microwave - the kitchen sink was a bonus :)

I wished I had a table and chair where I could sit comfortably to eat meals and work on my laptop. Walking my dog from the Inn required walking a short stretch of noisy busy traffic in order to get to a trail, dog park, or quieter neighborhoods.

Unbeatable value for location and amenities, so I stayed 4 nights. Yes, it's rustic and that's part of the charm. It could use some vacuuming behind the night stands but overall bathroom was clean with a great shower and plush white towels. Some of the most comfortable beds than even high-end hotel chains, with crisp, clean linens. Other than not having a desk and chair to eat at, I had my portable chair in the trunk to solve that and they have a shaded picnic area outside. The kitchenette was perfect for my needs. I brought most of my food and had a microwave and nice sized fridge for storage. Perfect for sleeping in and then spending the days outdoors. That's why you're in Moab, isn't it? I walked to the town shops within blocks, but if you have the patience to wait for the free MAT shuttle, Moab's thought of everything to make this a great outdoor destination without turning into Park City or Sedona.

Lack of table/desk and chair: dust accumulated behind furniture.

The room was clean and tidy when we arrived. It was a little tight, but it had a small kitchenette (microwave, sink, fridge) with a small table and two chairs. It had a dresser and a place to hang clothes. The bed and sheets were comfortable and the AC worked great though it was a bit loud. The maid service was by request which I am sure saved money so we asked them to do it every other day and it was well done. It was right next to the grocery store and gas station so that was convenient. We spent almost all our time at Arches or Canyonlands so the dislikes below were mostly moot.

A little more room and would be nice. I suggest that they change their by request to that model. The place was a little far from the rest of town, quarter mile or so till you get to the bulk of the stores. The hot tub was out of order and the pool was across the street.

I like that they had Ice machine and laundry facility, has microwave and fridge and coffee maker which are all functioninh. Internet was strong, TV was working. The staff was friendly. The check in was easy. Very good location

Unlike other motels/inn, the door to your room is fronting the parking lot. You can park just outside your room. However, this one you had to go in the building which is a bit of a hassle if youre carrying a lot of luggage. The room space is small too.

Best was the open, friendliness of the staff. They always had a smile. Next best was the size of the refrigerator's ice compartment. It was large enough for me to refreeze our 3 half gal. jugs that we use to chill our cooler. Next has to be the bathroom vanity. It was wall-to-wall so there was plenty of room for toiletries. The quiet, the comfort of the beds were also much appreciated. Parking in front of your room door. It was an "older " style but spotless. AND, all of this was at a bargain price.

Hard to find anything we didn't like when we got so much for our dollars spent. If someone was staying for more than one night, the pool and hot tub would have been nice to use (we did not because of a shortage of time on our part).

My husband and I traveled over 15 hours by the time we reached this hotel, however, we had it booked ahead of time. We were both exhausted and completely drained but knew we wouldn’t get to the hotel until 2:00 am, so when we reached the office doors, obviously it was closed/locked. But the manager had taped keys and a map of our room with our name onto the door and called us in the morning to sign the check in paperwork. That was awesome. The room was clean, the AC and shower were both perfect. I am 7 months pregnant, and can easily be grossed out and this place didn’t have anything to be worried about.

The room was just the right size for one old man like me. Reminded me of how hotels used to be. Saved money on the rate, no pool or breakfast. Perfect location in the middle of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Like in an older building, the heater was noisy, but I have learned to bring a warm blanket and didn't operate it during sleep time.
