The elegance of the property can not be overstated. Not a speck of dust can be detected. It carries an air of being lovingly maintained. Tangible history still lives in the walls. The Virginia truly feels like American Royalty. Amazingly, it was priced so that my kids and I (a middle class group) could enjoy all of the opulence and history. We all agree that it was the nicest stay we have ever had!

The staff was *exceptionally* friendly. Front desk staff were great conversationalists and the doorman gave excellent recommendations. It truly felt like a very welcoming hotel.

Maybe the room was a bit small? I found the entire experience exceptional. I don't have more to say.

The room and the skyline!

Wasn't told I would have to pay $10 to park my own car. If I knew that I would of paid the literal $5 extra dollars to have valet parking... Also we were not told where parking was available. We had to guess, and lucky the nice hostess at the William and Mary told us as we walked in we had parked in the wrong parking deck we would of had our car towed by the next morning. I also paid extra to have breakfast. Which the breakfast had the choice of some old sandwiches plain yogurt with fruit (the fruit was old) and Starbucks. Starbucks was the only half good.thing from breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, very pleasant staff. Our room was beautifully decorated. We particularly liked the modern, spacious shower.

Unfortunately, because it was the 4th of July and many restaurants are unable to secure waitstaff, neither the bar nor the restaurant was open. In fact, we were unable to find an open restaurant anywhere in downtown Lynchburg and had to drive out to the suburbs to find some place to eat dinner. I realize this isn't the hotel's fault, but if we had been advised that neither the bar nor the restaurant would be open, we would have made other plans.

we had a Junior suite which was perfect for myself and husband and son. The Marigold opened early enough for breakfast for my son to get food before his swim meet. skyline the perfect place to relax after a busy day.

The hotel is located downtown in Lynchburg near store, shops and restaurants. The hotel is well kept, staff is excellent and food available on property. Valet is excellent and quick, rooms were very comfortable.

One of the best options available in Lynchburg- a little pricing but worth it.

This hotel was beautiful and very secure. I love that you needed a room key just to operate the elevator. The staff were very nice and friendly and the room was lovely!

There wasnt anything that I didnt like. I would absolutely stay there again!

I think it might be the nicest thing Lynchburg had to offer! the historic architecture, artwork, on site leather store, the Art Deco decorations, the soaking tub… everything was just amazing

Although nicer than in other places we have been, the breakfast, especially the breakfast room, lacks any kind of charme…

This was a luxury hotel experience for a very affordable price! The bathroom was HUGE and everything is updated! The staff were incredible!

Unfortunately there is nothing to do around the hotel Lynchburgh is a ghosttown.
