The property was great. Booking. Com not so. I specifically noted in my booking info that I was traveling with a dog. Arrived at hotel to find NO PET signs. Fortunately for an astute night manager she saw my husband was handicap and the dog provided him with assistance. Booking.com misrepresented the policy and needs to fix their website representation. I'm now waiting for confirmation of pet policy from the hotel I booked and paid for on booking.com on my return trip. Can't say I would recommend or use booking.com again.

The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was lovely. The included breakfast was just ok

The room did not have the amenities listed on the booking app. I don't fault the hotel for this, but I paid more than I normally would have because it said the room would have a bathtub and a dvd player. Update the app with current information, or advise users to call the hotel before final booking.

HI-Express is a brand we trusted to be Top Quality and so it was EXCEPT very very expensive. We'll go back to upgraded Red Roof Inns and Super 8's to have a nice stay for a decent price.

The breakfast - skimpy and short. ONy lasted til 9:30am on SUnday and they ran out of almost EVERYTHING, including their special cinnamon buns. What the Heck!!! Not so nice.

Good for the money we paid

It was very clean, but the room smell a little. I understand it’s a pet friendly place and I am not complaining, but they should have some rooms that are not pet friendly for people who has allergies or are not used to pets.

Location and convenience

The bed was a little bit more soft than I like. But I made out ok. Wish they had been running a special for the holiday celebration so people would have stayed rather than to drive under the influence after partying for new years.

The place was clean and breakfast was good

I had a handy cap room or what they call a handy cap room. Just because you put some railing up doesn’t mean it for handicap. They need to do some work on the place for the handicap. Especially for the price you pay.

The staff was welcoming and very friendly. I the room was very clean. Check in time as at 3PM I was able to check in at 1:30PM. Breakfast was delicious they had a full spread. I went to a concert at VSU it was 10 minutes for the college and then I went to The croakers spot to eat and that was 10 min away from the hotel. It was the perfect location.

The door was too close to the toilet. and there were no cloves available for patrons to wear while serving their own food

O I'm going through a divorce & needed to get out of marital home, this was closer to my place of work & so I chose it to stay. Overall I was satisfied.

I felt the rate was a bit too high. But, honestly, I had no choice unless I wanted to drive 20 plus miles one way. If the rates were more reasonable, I would have extended my stay. Unfortunately, I had to relocate to another hotel. Also booked online & description said bathtub, my room only had a shower, this was a disappointment as well.

My husband had a gig at Fort Lee and this property was very conveniently located near the base. We were allowed to check in early and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was fantastic! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was well stocked with plenty of variety. We will definitely stay here again.

Not one complaint about this property.

I always stay at this hotel when visiting our daughter. It's quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are all always friendly and helpful and the hotel clean and welcoming.
