The food was delicious!

A couple of things…we specifically booked 2 rooms with dogs. We should not have been placed on the 6th floor! It was difficult to take the dogs out when it shouldn’t have been. Our dogs were afraid of the escalator which made it even harder for us. We saw others with dogs on the first floor right by the door, so that part was disappointing. It just made it such a project to take them outside. We also have a child with a dairy allergy, and we were hoping for more food (dinner) options without dairy. The breakfast buffet was amazing, but my only recommendation there is to please offer a milk alternative such as almond milk or soy milk.

The rooms are palatial and modern and very clean. love that there is a separate seating area/ living room with tv outside the bedroom. adore the atrium at the center of the hotel with fountain and trees and the happy hour wine and cheese! there is an indoor pool and gym. there is a mini convenience store type area in the lobby with various snacks and drinks. breakfast was lovely and was included in my stay-- dont miss the made to order omelets! This is very close to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, which was glorious with the Incanto sculpture exhibit & the reason for my stay here.

the bathroom is very small compared to the room size.

We have a family of 5, so we stayed in a room with a pull out couch. The room was very clean. We were near an elevator but it was very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable, not hard, but not mushy or lumpy and the sheets were soft. There was a door between the bedroom and living room to give my oldest some privacy at night. The glass elevator was a lot of fun for the younger two kids. The made to order eggs at breakfast were very good.

The pool area was uncomfortably dirty for our taste. The water was so murky, we couldn’t see the bottom. Other than the eggs, breakfast was, well, free. There was plenty of seating but the food was bland, and the melons were crunchy. The menu didn’t rotate during our stay. If I needed a better gastronomic experience, there were restaurants nearby. It wasn’t important, just disappointing. I’d still stay there again.

We really liked the lady at the front desk when we checked in. We really wish we could remember her name, but she was a tall, super sweet black lady with 2 tone (blonde tips) short hair. She was very accommodating. She never seemed annoyed when we asked for (a lot of) different things like the lady who was there after she left. The drinks and snacks daily from 5:30-7pm is an amazing idea and perfect for winding down from a long day. We didn't make it back in time to have the hot breakfast. We were upset about that bc everything else there was impressive, including the room service. We wanted to swim too, but there was a group (6-8) of creepy men who looked at you like you're a piece of meat and made you feel very uncomfortable from the time you walked in until the time they watched you out. They hogged the pool the whole time we were there, just waiting for females to come swimming half naked in bathing suits.

The bathroom felt claustrophobic. We would have liked to have a bigger fridge so we didn't have to leave the comfort and privacy of our suite, especially after room service closed for the night, Or if you were tipsy (or even more intoxicated) and have no business behind the wheel.

no issues with the staff at the hotel. But we did have issues with Embassy suites booking department not being trained properly. I property was great room was clean grounds were immaculate. The staff member that booked my room was not trained properly and miss spoke. after the reservation was made, (they) asked me for my credit card information and explained to me that this room was nonrefundable due to the shortness between booking and arriving. when I was told the room was nonrefundable, I was under the assumption that it was paid for. I was not explained that it would not be charged until my guest arrived at the hotel. My fiancé arrived at the hotel, not knowing the room was not paid for. So she did not take her credit cards thinking it was paid for. Which caused a problem she was there with Bowie University baseball team. And it was almost left without a room to sleep in. I was traveling.

Ms. Annette Vidal and the staff at the front desk were amazing. She made great accommodations for us because I am disabled. The food and bar staff were excellent. Everyone treated us and our guesses like family. This was our 3rd visit. We will be back.

We were all there for a funeral. Again, the staff was very caring and helped all of us who stayed and those who visited feel their condolences in our hearts. We all agreed that anytime we are in Richmond, we will be staying at the Embassy Suites Richmond.

Exceptionally clean facility. Ample parking such a rarity in the city. Modern decor in the spacious rooms. Food & drinks available on the first floor & within walking distance was another restaurant.

The staff were professional but a few were unkind. My check in person was not friendly & rudely commented on me booking my room through booking.com and not directly through the hotel. Another opportunity for improvement is adding a hot tub. A cold indoor pool just doesn’t cut it for adults.

It was everything. We loved the fact order food and they bring it to you. The buffet breakfast. It was omelets as well for breakfast. There was my first omelet. Then you get free 2 drinks per night per person. The location was great .. TGIF was walking distance .. Sheetz were I like to get my gas was right beside it. This was my first stay and plan to stay again.

The small balcony. The small bathroom. The slow elevators. And sofa chairs need be vacuumed .. too much pet hair was on them.

Loved the layout of the building and really enjoyed the reception. Great breakfast with the omlette bar. My daughter enjoyed watching the elevators! It worked well for our family that you can close the door to the living room so our daughter could sleep on the pull out without being woken up by house in the bedroom.

The bathroom setup is uncomfortable and awkward, you can barely get in with how small it is and how the door swings in too close to the toilet.

Indoor swimming pool and fitness centre. We enjoyed the made to order omlettes and pancakes, as well as the breakfast choices - you never left hungry. Spacious 2-room suites so squeaky clean! And FREE PARKING onsite!

Slow elevators, one being out of order. 2 mornings I made wakeup calls (night before) - and they never rang in the morning. No computers and internet access like other Hilton properties we stayed at.
