Full kitchen & big tub and location can't be beat....also although it is a non smoking hotel .. you can smoke on the balcony ..

The parking lot is always the only thing I can complain about

The staff is amazing! Ms.J.J. and Richard are awesome along with all other staff members.I happened to leave my phone downstairs at check-in and Richard met me with it as we were exiting the elevator on the ninth floor. Hes a ninja! 😁 A special thank you to our housekeeper Ms.Raiven for always providing what we needed especially clean towels daily Excellent location.We had two balconies one looking out over the ocean the other the city. Fully furnished full siize kitchen was nice. A convenient cafe is on the property with good food and great Bloody Mary's.They have bikes for a ride on the boardwalk or around town.They have some toys the kids can borrow for the sand at the beach and a few beach chairs. My daughter lives in Virginia beach and this will be my go to hotel everytime I visit. Oh! I forgot to mention the jacuzzi tub. The grandkids loved the inside pool.You just cant beat the amenities and service for an excellent price for an oceanfront hotel.

I travel quite a bit. I have no negative opinion on anything. Everything was perfect.

The room was wonderful. Two balconies with an ocean view. We had a Full kitchen in our room with an oven, microwave, full sized refrigerator, table, coffee pot, plates and silverware. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Spa tub was a very nice size. Parking was free in the parking garage. Parking garage had plenty of room for normal sized vehicles.

For all four nights we stayed we had NO hot water in the morning. We are early risers and wanted a hot shower or bath in the morning before we went out to start the day and there was no hot water in our room everyday until 730-8am. The boiler was supposedly just replaced the day before our stay. If it is not on a timer they may want to get it checked, because it is not working properly.

We loved the location, it was far enough away from all the activity down town, around 22 street... we could walk straight out to beach, and come back to room if needed be. The room was wonderful, nice and large, lots of space, the kitchen was very nice to have, especially the full refrigerator. It was quiet! We stayed in room 301- perfect spot... any higher floors you would have the noise of the pool.. we could walk right out our room, the stairs and elevator was right there... The ice machine on floor 4 didn't work the whole time, had to go to floor 8. The room was nice and clean, the couch cushions could be cleaned and updated... Overall it was wonderful, we loved the parking deck, could walk right out to our vehicle... once we parked we didn't move truck til we left, very nice.. We were able to check in a little earlier than what we thought and that was very nice... The staff was extremely nice and friendly, very accommodating.

The ice machine on floor 4 was broke the whole time, but we went to floor 8. The cushions on the couch needs to be cleaned, steamed!

when staying here you need to keep in mind this is a very old established resort. it’s not updated or modern. This was not a problem for us, as we were aware. I believe most people assume, Resort… new and remodeled. I love that it isn’t. Yes it looks a bit dated, because it is. Doesn’t mean it isn’t clean.

The size of the room and location were fabulous. It was clean and access to the balcony from the bedroom and living room was great.

Our jacuzzi tub would not work due to the stopper. We contacted the front desk who assured us someone would be up to fix it. It was never fixed. I told the clerk at check out as well but was told you should have let us know a second time that it needed attended to. I would have given this rave reviews if it wasn't for the jacuzzi which was one of the main attractions to the room.

I love the room because it was spacious. I absolutely loved that the balcony stretch along the bedroom and living room. I had multiple access to the balcony.

The room was spacious .Having the kitchen was awesome. The jacuzzi in the room was and is Amazing. There is never a bad view of the ocean.

Cleaning staff was down sized , So was the cleaning as well as stocking the room. Ran out of everything. Had to go to the store to restock the room. The rooms need to be recheck for cleanliness by other staff. The living room furniture was filthy,needs to be replace badly. Had to cover it with a blanket Rooms need to be inspected for maintenance quarterly. Alot of areas needed painted badly. Carpets need to be clean more often.

The location is excellent. The balcony is spacious. The rooms are nice, but the sleep sofa is very uncomfortable with the bar, and the regular sofa is not long enough to sleep on . The parking spaces very small and hard to get in and out of with the cement columns. Even though we made a reservation to six months ago, our request for our rooms to be there each other was not honored and we were on separate floors and had to wait for the elevator to be able to go see each other

The view was exceptional! Beautiful sunrises. The boardwalk and area was lovely and clean. Our room was great! Very clean and excellent wifi. Bed was very comfortable. We were very pleased with the room, view, services ie TV and wifi.

The parking was a bit tight and a bit scary on the second level. The hallways need a major upgrade - get rid of that nasty carpet and decorate a bit. When we first arrived we were worried about the looks of the place because of the hallways - but our room was beautiful!!
