The coffee is excellent, freshly made. The staff is professional, the room is a good size, the location is quite handy and the beds are comfortable.

The floors in the entry way and the bathrooms are so slippery that it would be easy for a child or an adult to fall. In general, if the money was available, things could use an update. These would include new carpets in the hallways and the rooms, the curtains that are torn, some ceilings need repairs, etc. Also, three times I had to go back down to the front desk to get my room key valid again. This should not happen!

Nice room with comfortable beds and chairs. Decent bathroom. The breakfast was well above average relative to what we've had at other similar hotels. Good variety of tasty foods, served hot, excellent coffee. The "breakfast ladies" deserve big Kudos! Location of this hotel is near perfect for visits to BGs and CW.

Cleanliness is a problem in public areas. The breakfast room was fairly clean, although tables needed attention. In other public areas such as corridors the carpets are filthy with food stains. Someone spilled cereal outside their room on our floor - it was there when we arrived and still there when we left 42 hours later. No vacuum cleaners? Our room was fairly clean.

Room and facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. our discontent was the fact that we had to move from the original room to another because of an airconditioning problem. (it didn't work). the new room had a VERY slippery tub and a bathroom vanity faucet that leaked badly. I was able to avoid a flood on the floor with the towels but by this time we had unpacked and really didn't want to be moved again. Staff did all they could to fix the other bathroom problems but I really didn't feel safe in the tub even after they put some special none skid tape on floor of the tub.

The breakfast offered quite a variety of things to choose from and the fresh coffee was excellent! The room was very quiet and the hotel is very near to restaurants and Colonial Williamsburg.

I think the hotel would benefit with some minor repairs, such as better carpeting in the hallways and the rooms. The entrance floor to the rooms is quite slippery, especially when it rains or certain shoe soles. The pillows were not great and the room lighting was not great for reading.

The room and hallways were clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We did not bring clothing hangers, but the front desk staff found some for us to use.

The ac unit in our room did not cool. We had warmer temperatures and the room felt hot in the evenings. We always bring a portable fan so it made the stay enjoyable.

First time staying and it was okay. Bed was comfortable and the room provides nice space. Lighting was good and breakfast was very good and hot with waffles, mini omelettes and other. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

You could hear children run in the hallways at night. Also, the elevators were down the first floor hallway, which was a lot when carrying bags just to walk down another hallway to get to our room.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and met my expectations. Location was great, very close to Colonial Williamsburg, which was the reason for our visit.

It was okay. Ran out of coffee often and the poor attendant was over worked. She tried.

The people at the front desk were unfriendly. They should always look up when approached by customers. Almost always, they kept their heads down and never smiled. We ran out of toilet paper and they never sent it to our room like they said they would. Saturday morning we wanted to leave early and could not get a cart. The front desk had a little empathy or suggestions. The weight room what’s not open and the conditioning equipment very limited.

The location was excellent. We couldn’t have been closer to Colonial Williamsburg. We appreciate they welcome dogs. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very nice.

It was a little run down. We had a handicapped room, but the shower pan wasn’t wide enough and didn’t have a lip on it and the shower curtain was too high, so the water ran all over the bathroom floor. I’m sure if we would’ve had a regular room it might’ve been easier. Some kids staying at the hotel smoked in the room and set off the fire alarm for 25 minutes so we had to evacuate in our Jammie’s, so they could investigate. That wasn’t the hotels fault of course, but maybe indicative of the clientele. The lawn wasn’t mowed, there weren’t dog bags in the dispenser. They must’ve had a flood on our floor because they had a huge fan running the whole time right outside our door. There was a water leak in the hose at the back. Maybe they were short staffed to accomplish the details.
