Friendly staff!

The long wait for the elevator. Only one was working. The one that was working took a very long time. We end up taking the stairs majority of the time. Did like being awaken by the fire alarm in the middle of the night. We had to evaluate the hotel. But because of the fire alarm awaken us and we had to evaluate. We was given free breakfast the next day. The pool room needs to be air conditioning. As soon as I opened the door if was suficating. Need to update the system. I could hardly breathe.

The food was exceptional!!! The chef was very attentive. That was the best biscuits and gravy I have ever tasted. It was seasoned to perfection and did not have to add anything else to it. Most places that serve biscuits and gravy make it too runny and slimy and it tastes nasty. This one had the right consistency. The French toast was to die for. They had a veterans' group there, rather large. Never ran out of food and they were nice as well.

Hot Tub was out of service

The staff was outstanding. Very helpful and friendly, especially the front desk and breakfast crew. Look forward to returning in December.

We needed a walk-in shower due to my wife being physically handicapped and eventually the front desk made it happen. However, the remote controlled blinds in the room did not work. Otherwise a nice stay with a great breakfast.

The pool was open 24 hours! The hotel was very clean and well LIt!

We purchased breakfast and there were mini sprite sodas in the fridge along with the milk for the cereal so we assumed they were included with the breakfast so we all took a sprite. A lady came over to the table and lectured us on why we was not supposed to have the sprite drinks and that they were for the bar! Well we wasn’t aware they had a bar and there wasn’t anything stating that certain items in the refrigerator was off limits. About 5 mins of her ranting, we finally finished our breakfast!

Breakfast was okay, but over priced for what we had. Fruit was hard. Coffee was not hot.

Could use a table in the room for eating snacks and take out.

The location was great. The hotel itself has recently been refurbished and updated. Carpeting and furniture appeared quite new. Breakfast buffet was okay. My husband had pancakes hot off the griddle and they were perfectly made and very good. I was happy to have some grapefruit juice.

Bathroom could have used a grab bar in the shower.

The room was clean and the staff very friendly. There was plenty of parking. It was easy to get to Colonial Williamsburg from the hotel, and it was located close to a good variety of restaurants.

It was a little worrisome that the same door that was stuck during our visit last July was still stuck.

Neither bed side lamp was hooked up electrically yet, but not that big of a deal.

We were return customers. Very friendly staff and breakfast was great! We had a great conversation with Nancy while dining at the bar! We will definitely stay here again.

I love that the pool is 24 hours even though the hot tub was down during our stay. The wine bar is a great touch as well. I think you all should add more seating outside though for people to lounge. They also accommodated us when we arrived early which was awesome.
