We were very happy with the hotel with one exception, the location. We had a room on the street side and the traffic, both foot and street were extremely loud. On our next trip we will ask for a room towards the back of the building otherwise everything was wonderful.

The room was larger than I expected, even having a little kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

One night, there was some ruckus on the street around 3 am. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel, but maybe it's just the neighborhood. The windows were pretty thin, even letting in some cold air at night, but they faced the bed, which I liked for being awoken by the sun in the morning.

The location is great. The room was clean and well appointed. Rum bar downstairs has yummy drinks and empanadas and my room was a short elevator ride away.

Could provide book of area interests including restaurants etc. Could provide channel guide for tv.

The location (close to metro) was very useful. The room-size and facilities were impressive.

Sleepers should have been provided.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Big room, lots of desk space and plugs.

The free breakfast was low quality - I went straight out and bought breakfast

The location is excellent! Parking with come and go access is right across the street and at a reasonable rate. There are several great restaurants just steps away with outdoor seating. The staff was absolutely amazing! Each time we came back from the property we felt like we were greeting family as we got on the elevator to our room. And the best of all was being able to stay at such a lovely place at such a reasonable price.

There is a bar directly below the road facing side of the hotel. Every night around 1 AM the party moved from the bar to the sidewalk. I wish I had thought to call the reception desk but I did not. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they apologized profusely and said next time to please let them know and they will take care of it. If I’m back in DC, I definitely want to stay at this hotel again. I will just try to get a room on the backside of the hotel.

Friendly and helpful front desk employees, comfortable beds and good location.

In room coffee maker was dirty expensive snacks.

New modern looking facility, clean, free water dispenser, quiet and safe!

I think that pictures here are misleading. Hokey does not look like the pictures here but still looks nice. The Cuban bar is not part of the hotel, but it’s in the basement of the same building. Pillows were also extremely uncomfortable for me (they are very big and tight). Everything else was fine!

Situation close to public transport and main activities

would be great to have plates and utensils to use in the room as there is an microwave and a sink.
