The room and breakfast were excellent. The room was well equipped and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast had a good variety, and one of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was well stocked and the breakfast area was clean and pleasant.

The laundry facility was unacceptable. One machine was broken, other machines were dirty, there was no way to get coins needed or to use a. credit card to operate the machines. I had to go elsewhere to do my laundry.

Very friendly,helpful staff. Nice room. Enjoyed looking over book about Bellingham's restaurants, etc. Availability of coffee/tea/iced water with lemon is a great touch. Breakfast room was very pleasant.

Foods offered for breakfast were rather disappointing. I expected more after reading reviews. More fruit or a variety of cheese, breads, cereal toppings would be an improvement. Plastic cutlery and small yogurt tubs add up to a lot of plastic waste. THE YOUNG LADY RUNNING THE BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT, KEEPING EVERYTHING WELL STOCKED - SHE MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOME.

Clean room, very comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower! I stayed two separate nights, On Sunday, Ann at the front desk was very accommodating to my request of a high floor room, on the quiet side. I stayed again on Wednesday night and Thursday morning met Stephanie at the front desk. She is so sweet! I had checked out first thing in the morning and finished my workday much earlier than expected. I went back to the hotel and was able to work on my computer in the lobby before heading to the airport. Stephanie continued to check on me to see if there was anything I needed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Bellingham!

No fault of the hotel, but there is a quite a few unhoused people roaming around the area.

Generally, everything was great.

Minor damage in the room. This reflects professionalism and expected quality. But all else was great. Even though they have a very large maintenance staff, I have been touching up minor damage in hospital settings for 15+ years (Cardiovascular rooms, clinic rooms, procedure rooms, gastroenterology, etc. I am not sure if your hotel would be interested, but after seeing some of the minor wall damage or minor caulking maintenance issues, I do feel this is a service I do for hospital settings could be applied to your industry. mimserviceinfo@gmail,com If you like, I could send pictures of the damage I saw in the room.

We regularly try to stay at LaQuinta. This is the nicest, most comfortable room we have had to date. The entire facility was spotless and quiet!

An ice machine on the first floor would be nice. The staff helped us find a nice restaurant for dinner.

Check in employee on September 15th at around noon was super friendly, efficient, and accommodating. She was able to get us in to a room earlier than planned which was a bonus. We always appreciate that prices are very reasonable & you get great value for the price. We have stayed here mord times than we can count and will continue to return. We also recommend La Quinta highly to our friends and family.

Some of the homeless in the area can be a bit off-putting, but we appreciate that there are security measures taken for that.

I and my two kids (11 and 14) had a great one-night stay at La Quinta. It was very easy to find and well situated beside the wonderful Fred Meyer grocery store for any needs we had. They were super friendly at check-in and welcomed us even a little early. My kids used the pool three times in our short stay - it was a little small, but adequate for their fun. The beds were very comfy and the curtains made the room nice and dark. The breakfast in the morning was nice - the kids made their own waffles with berry sauce, and I enjoyed sausages, eggs, potatoes, and nice coffee and juice. We would certainly come back and stay again!

As I mentioned, the pool was pretty small, but the kids still enjoyed it three times, and also enjoyed the hot tub. If the hotel was much busier I can imagine the pool getting pretty full with kids, but as it was, it was ok for us. :)

The guy at the front desk was really short with me and seemed inconvenienced when I needed to ask questions other than that great place to stay and great breakfast.

The DIY pancake station was great as well as the roasted potatoes. The bed quality was wonderful. Everything seemed super clean. The staff was friendly, really kind and incredibly helpful. It was easy to get here from downtown Bellingham and travel around. The #1, #50 and #232 buses stop a few steps away from the hotel. The hotel is only about 15-30 minutes by bus from the Downtown Bellingham main bus Station, which offers connections to a variety of interesting destinations.

I wished however, that higher quality foods, with higher nutritional value and better taste, was made available to match the room fee and amenities i.e non-gmo/bio-engineered fruit, eggs, cereals, milk, potatoes, juice, milks etc. or fresh baked goods. I'd prefer to include that as a free option in my room fee rather than have free access to the gym or pool. However, for most travelers, the breakfast options, as they are, would be fine. On the other hand, there's a Fred Meyers grocery store right next to the hotel, so that's an excellent option for better-quality prepared and whole foods. May need to budget extra for that.

Hotel is in a very central location for everything we needed to do during our stay. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful with any requests we had for them.

The hot tub was unavailable during our stay. There seems to be a large homeless population nearby and visible from our room. It didn't affect our stay but it was a concern for where we parked our car overnight.
