The front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming and efficient. My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Although I was there by myself, I really appreciated that the bathroom was split (shower room & separate room for the toilet) with a sink in each. Also grateful to have a microwave and refrigerator. Although I didn’t use the pool, work out room, bar, breakfast area, business center I really appreciated the full amenities. I would definitely stay again!

My room was generally clean and pretty decent on the most part but I did notice a few things that had been missed: There were crumbs and things on the carpet (not throughly vacuumed), the glass doors to the bathroom were in need of cleaning, the bathroom fans were in need of cleaning, there were a couple of little spots on the bathroom floor and walls that had been missed. I wasn’t aware of all of the amenities such a breakfast, what time the bar area opened/closed, that there was a business center & perhaps a laundry room. While I realize I could have read this on the website, it wasn’t apparent any other way (such as spoken of at the front desk or a booklet of some kind in the room itself- at least not that I saw).

My only issue was out of my 8 day stay only on of those days which was the Wednesday did my room get properly refreshed. Monday and Friday I never got any fresh new coffee cups or regular coffee in my room or water glasses for drinking water.

Breakfast was good, and the staff assisting with breakfast were nice. Could use fruit flavored Chobani yogurt though.

Overall opinion was good, but my wife suggests that lower end of the weights (dumbbells) need to be more female friendly. Namely, including some 5, 8, 10, 12 and 15 point dumbbells. She also would have liked a yoga mat (or two) for stretching, and maybe an additional weight bench so that more than one person could use at a time.

The location was good. Hotel was clean and inviting. They accommodated our desire to stay next door to my daughter’s family.

The breakfast was disappointing. Some of the food was dried out. Fresh fruit like blueberries would’ve been nice, to go on yogurt. I am diabetic and the egg frittata type things would’ve been good for my diet, but they tasted not fresh. The pool water was freezing! I got in with my grandson, and it was difficult to tolerate. I had difficulty changing the tv channels with the remote. Very slow operation so therefore frustrating.

The location was good and the staff accommodated our request for early checkin and side by side rooms.

The pool water was very cold. The food, although probably good while warm, was kinda dry and stale at 8am, specifically the waffles and the egg bite muffins. Some fresh fruit to put on yogurt would’ve been nice, like blueberries, instead of blueberry compote. The TV channels were very difficult to change with the remote. Luckily we were busy and didn’t watch much TV.

Love staying here when I can afford it! I scored a killer deal for $109/night for a 2 queen bed room. I stayed here when I worked for Chicago Title, and have friends who live in town. I always stay here when it pans out! $110 for this room is a steal when Bay City Motor Inn is $75/night. If you can get a deal, grab it. Building is new. Staff is very helpful and kind. Modern feel. I'll say it again! Love staying here when I can afford it!

The only thing I can say is that I wish this room was always $110/night! It's definitely worth $200/night, but if you're on a budget it's a little steep.

Our stay was in early December 2022. We loved the food. Staff was quick to repair a door. We had a wheelchair accessible room and it was great.

In early December 2022. We were very sorry to see only one operational elevator. The 2nd elevator had been out of service for months. Not good for a wheelchair user!

The breakfast was good and it was a large and comfortable area.

The toaster in the breakfast room was a very small one very unusual for such a large hotel and it could have been a much larger one.

the bar and food area downstairs was nice

our room was tiny, at the end of the bad was the bathroom and the bathroom door would not stay shut it kept rolling open. you had to hold onto it while using the bathroom. kinda funny kinda annoying

The staff were amazing ! Above and beyond. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a stay at a hotel .
