The cottage was ultra-clean, modern and well-furnished. The kitchen, though small, was more than adequate for making oatmeal and coffee for breakfast and a simple meal at dinner time. The refrigerator was small but kept my sandwich fixings cool. The couch was comfortable and the bed was excellent. Slept very well. Location is great, about a five minute walk to the beach, which I did twice. I liked the designated parking space.

The Cadet heaters have a knob to control the temperature, but it was difficult to tell exactly how much to turn the knob to make it a little cooler or a little warmer. I was too hot the first night, too cool the second night, and about right the last two nights. Also, the tap water didn't settle well on my stomach. Ended up using bottled water for drinking.

good coffee, clean, newly refurbished, close to what we came for (beach and forest walks; views from Cape disappointment state park; Long Beach vibe); heater worked well. Wonderful food next door - Seaview biscuits with discount. Well thought out reuse of older property. The people were genuine and friendly. Wonderful area to visit.

bathroom floor slippery when wet(used the bathmat as rug); small room for us; did their best to work around the room size but it was a bit cramped and with wet cold weather, we couldn’t use the nice enclosed patio or picnic area outside.

The brand of coffee and the coffee maker provided in the room made great cups of coffee! The room was very clean and had the latest upgrades in furnishings. The location was very central to town and we were able walk around the neighborhood. It was great to be close to the ocean. The staff were very courteous and helped us out when we were trying to figure out how to get into the cottage after business hours and also to figure out a technical problem we thought we had with the TV remote.

The floor in the cottage felt a little skewed but all in all it was a great stay in the cottage! The entry way had a step which if one got a bit distracted could easily trip over even though there was a sign to 'Mind Your Step'.

Great location for quick access to the beach and the cottage I stayed in was actually the little yellow one in the picture. Perfect size studio for my dog and I. Check in was super easy, I called about 3 hours before check in and was able to be checked in remotely so I could go straight into my cottage when I got there.

There wasn’t any silverware or actual glasses in the room and the shower head was at chin level so I had to bend down to fit underneath it, I’m 5’ 7. I also wish there was some more grass area for my dog but there’s not much they can do about that. The biscuit cafe or little breakfast place they had was closed while I was there which was a bummer so trying to find a dog friendly breakfast place early in the morning before checking out proved difficult.

Initially, I had selected a room that I thought would accommodate me my spouse and our two dogs. We checked in and immediately realized that we needed more space. I went back to the office and explained our situation, the gal who had helped us in the office, switched our rooms. No questions asked with a smile. The location is great, the hotel itself is super cute, unique, and accommodating for pets. Your parking is right outside your door, which is awesome too.

Everything exceeded my expectations

We stayed in cottage number 9, had everything and all the updates were really nice! Will definitely stay there again. Everything on the outside was great too from having plenty of doggy poo stations, fish cleaning area, bbq & picnic tables covered area, even a smoking area and I don't smoke. But nice for people who do. A great little place to relax and still be close to everything.... for breakfast & coffee right next door - named Biscuits got to go!

You can hear the people upstairs walking around. It's an old building & it was nice that a flyer was left in the unit.

We loved how clean and bright and modern and spacious, room 10 was. We love having a handheld shower!!! We Loved having a choice of thick or thin bed pillows. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the bedding. We would definitely stay again if needed. It was a great value for the price!

The only thing we wish was different was the water pressure. It was very weak in room 10. It would be great to have a few more hooks in the bathroom, maybe behind the door for clothing and more towels. Moving the microwave up higher would be ideal for older people like us.

We didn’t eat breakfast at The Biscuit. The beds were wonderful and tv, microwave, and fridge were good. The shower stall and floor in the bathroom were very nice.

I didn’t know there were stairs. That wasn’t great but we managed. The bathroom sink was too small to even wash your hands or face without getting water on the floor. Also, there wasn’t really anyplace to set out toiletries. It would have helped if there had been a placemat or something so things wouldn’t fall through the shelf. There was still very little room there.

The cleanliness was impressive. Lots of little extras that some places don't offer were available and while I didn't need them because I brought them, it was much appreciated if for any reason I had forgotten those items. The contact less check in was fantastic because we worked that day and didn't get there till quite a bit later in the day, I was told what cottage, the appropriate parking spot and our room code well in advance of our arrival. Seeing the staff the next day, they were helpful and sweet. Had an awesome experience.

Felt a little drowned in the shower because I couldn't back up far enough to get the spray out of my face while I was not using it handheld (while washing my face, or even turned around rinsing out shampoo/conditioner. On the flip side of that my husband, who is much taller than I am and has a lot of issues having to bend down to fit, loved that it was up high) and the shower curtain doesn't fall far enough down to keep the water mostly in, so I slipped a little on the wet bath mat exiting the shower. The sheets were a little rough, but overall, it was an exceptionally nice experience!

It was perfectly located near the beach, parks and shopping. Easy to find and staff was friendly. Windows had screens and curtains for privacy but the sliding door could have used a screen. The shower was decent.

As in most hotels / motels the walls were thin. One of the other guests had a nasty cough and was up in the middle of the night in the porch area and we felt like he was right out our door, so woke us up. The fridge, while cute, was very small.
