The hotel is a very fun boutique style right in the heart of downtown. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop patio, spectacular views and they let you take drinks from the bar up there, what a treat! Nice continental breakfast with gluten free bread option.

The website doesn't give much detailed info that you might be looking for- hair dryer in the room? refrigerator? do they offer early check in or late check out? I was told that you can potentially get into your room early if you inquire day of and they might be able to get your room ready first, I was traveling for work and was hoping to get in sooner than 4pm. When I called day of, I was told by someone else that they did not do early check in ever and seemed annoyed that I was hoping then to at least have them hold onto my luggage so I could go kill time while waiting for my room. Besides that one person that was rude and curt in all of our interactions, everyone else was that we interacted with was very nice.

The breakfast was fine. Sufficient to my needs. We loved the elegant renovation of our room. Just as advertised, the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed he location's convenience to boites and the Liberty.

What I didn't like was that the front door was so hard to open. Wished there was a handicap button function to help open it while pushing a suitcase. This is true also for the shower doors, my friend and I both had difficulty pushing them into place. I was also disappointed that there wasn't any refrigeration in the room. Restaurant food is so expensive yet plentiful and there was no place in the room to store doggy bags or drinks. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask the main desk to help.

The location is excellent!! The front desk went above and beyond, I mean really really excellent!!

We were in room 208. The furniture layout is really strange. The air conditioner could easily fit in the corner instead of taking up space better used to access the right side of the bed. The desk and tv stand should be flipped so the person on the right side of the bed can have a clear view of the tv instead of the desk. A mirror over the desk would be very useful. Breakfast was not nearly as good as we remembered from previous visits.

The rooftop garden with a view is exquisite. Breakfast is better than most. The location in central Astoria allows for easy access on foot to many of the areas local bookstores and eateries. We do this as an anniversary trip every year. I also recommend the farmer's market/ street fair every Saturday and a ride on the trolley along the Columbia side of Astoria. Also there are museums and historic buildings within walking distance as well.

The breakfast was wonderful. Was impressed with the flooring in the bathroom---beautiful and it's heated. Loved the wall covering in the bathroom also, and the pictures on the walls in the bedroom. The staff were all so friendly, nice and accommodating.

The lamp on the desk didn't come on....Probably the light bulb. The faucet in the sink in the bathroom is leaking. The room needs 2 chairs for 2 people. The price was exorbitant. Maybe I'm just not to date on prices.

Breakfast is always a pleasure: quality coffee, a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere, and choices that change every day. We love the rooftop space and watching the ships ply the Columbia. Having the Farmer's Market outside the front door on Sunday was great.

The combination of hair drier and AC popped a GFI we couldn't fix on our own. Also, the AC unit took up space where a second night stand would have been most welcome.

Breakfast was great and really nice to have the extended hours. The coffee/tea bar was a welcome addition. It's wonderful being in the middle of town and walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and shops. Understandable there isn't dedicated parking but appreciated that street parking was close and many areas were not a limited amount of time. Staff was very helpful in sharing ideas, eateries etc.

I love this hotel and book for special occasions, birthdays, and anaverys. The staff is always helping and kind to us and makes us feel special when we arrive. The room is always clean and beautiful. A short walk upstairs, and you'll be on the roof looking at all of Astoria beautiful views. This hotel is walking distance to everything downtown. A bunch of Brewery's my favorite Fort George. Breakfast in the morning.

Excellent location. We spilled onto the sidewalk and enjoyed the downtown attractions- shops, food, bars, breweries and sites. Best continental breakfast. Tasty new meal each day with coffee and juice. Bathroom tile floors are heated and beds are comfy. Staff members were friendly, effective and responsive and became familiar faces over our long weekend stay. The rooftop is an enjoyable bonus space when the weather is good.

Initially the propane was empty on the rooftop fire pit. It took a few days to replace and we were not able to enjoy. Be aware parking is street side with more constraints on Sunday market days, but still very easy to find.

It’s old and quaint but has such character. It’s like staying at your grammas house. Roof top deck is lovely too

I am a coffee snob and while the coffee was good I wish they would put a Kerig coffee maker in the room. It wouldn’t fit with the ambiance. This won’t stop me from staying there again. This was my 4 visit. Just love the people and the ambiance.
